@1kirill1 Hello to you too see more
  • DoctorElditch is taking time off (🙄again...)!
@ZaidH Not yet. To be honest, I am not in much of a hurry to do that. I may get to it at some point, but I want to read the reviews first, besides, as you know, my backlog is notoriously long... Did you? see more
  • Do you know any good Lovecraftian games?
@DracoTarot Where else would you look? We only really have Nexus 😅 I mean, there may be other places out there but none that I know of that have such a diverse database of mods. see more
  • When it comes to horror, do you like watching or playing?
@j7schultz Depends. It is not bad, but you need to like the whole genre. To be honest, it is rather dark and dirty theme-wise (adult jokes, sexual themes, all that). It is good if you like that, but for something more wholesome best to look elsewhere. Like in Demon Slayer. see more
  • When it comes to horror, do you like watching or playing?
@GoLLuM13 It is not for everyone, true. I watched it but did not like it. It was ok if you like the genre, but that's about it. see more
  • Spooky music for October!
@DracoTarot Well, classic and country music is relatively easy there and almost self-explanatory. Jazz some say comes from "jasm", a slang term for "energy and vitality" from the 1860s, which makes sense. I do not know about others, though. I wonder. In the past, getting to go to a concert and... see more
  • When it comes to horror, do you like watching or playing?
@DracoTarot It is good to keep busy. If nothing else, it sure beats the alternative 😅 I did not think Beetlejuice 2 was great, but it was rather meh. Too many plotlines squeezed in, and those plots about the undead actor/cop and his (ex?)wife do not bring anything to the story at all. Seems like... see more
  • Check out Shin chan: Shiro and the Coal Town!
@ZaidH I have not played that, I must confess I never watched Naruto. Too big for me... But the game looks good! Still, I'll stick to Yakuza 😉 see more
  • Check out Shin chan: Shiro and the Coal Town!
To be fair, there are many games that let you do that. Long ago I was even working on localizing Yokai Watch, a Nintendo franchise. That too is a big slice of life with all the stamps thatof, with a Pokemon GO twist to it. And that's just my personal trivia not counting many other games like... see more
  • Welcome to the 📖 Legion Book Club 📖
@ZaidH Not a bad ending in the whole DLC per se, but if you make all the wrong choices in the base game, then Geralt himself dies in that ending. But in DLC Dandelion will visit him in Corvo Bianco instead of romantic interests or Ciri. But also, if you make a bad ending in the main DLC storyline,... see more
  • Today is Frankenstein Friday!
I do not often encounter "poetic" games as such. Dordogne is probably not that... What other poetic games came from France? see more
  • Today is Frankenstein Friday!
Well, to be fair, if we look at creature as Doctor's...child, I guess, then it is not entirely inaccurate. Children keep the second names of their parents. Even if child/parent combination in this case is unorthodox. see more
  • Today is Frankenstein Friday!
I guess "Ressurection" is a thematically appropriate game for him to appear in, even if that is not entirely accurate 😅 see more
  • Check out Shin chan: Shiro and the Coal Town!
@BelalSaid It is good to see, I am glad it is happening more and more. Could never understand why some games like to stick to just one platform (cough-Zelda-cough). I mean, I understand it from a marketing side, but as a gamer, it makes me sad. Chin Shan and Millennium Kitchen fare better, it... see more
  • Today is Frankenstein Friday!
@BelalSaid Do you mean Darkstalkers Resurrection? see more
  • Today is Frankenstein Friday!
Hello Legion Gamers! A small trivia for you: the last Friday of October is dedicated to celebrating Frankenstein (both doctor and his famous creature). Interestingly, when I learned about it and looked into what games are inspired by this story, I discovered that relatively few. Dracula, for... see more
  • Do you know any good Lovecraftian games?
@DracoTarot There are some decent ones around these days for Darkest Dungeon, Nexus has a lot. It is not that important if it was Warrior Within or not, I was just curious because it would make the most sense if it was vibe-wise. see more
  • Spooky music for October!
@DracoTarot I wonder if that's how "heavy" metal got its name. I always assumed it was about the tone of the music, but maybe it's more about the impression it leaves on the audience 😅 Well, hopefully, it is nothing too serious. Creative blocks and lack of new ideas is a current problem evident... see more
  • When it comes to horror, do you like watching or playing?
@DracoTarot Ah, have fun with that. I imagine you need to rest before next week, Halloween is bound to be a busy time for you 😉 So you will finally get to Beetlejuice 2 then? Yes, exactly. The jury is still out about whether it is horror or thriller, and Wikipedia even describes it as gothic... see more
  • Check out Shin chan: Shiro and the Coal Town!
@j7schultz It is a bit childish, but at a certain point, it may become nostalgic for those who watched older animes, like Sazae-san. see more
