  • How many games from Eurogamer's list have you played?
@GoLLuM13 It is rather odd in that regard, I have my own set of qualms with it, like not a single Lucasfilm Games title? Grim Fandango, come on... So yeah, not fully on board with choices there, but it could still be interesting to see how many games in their subjective list made it on my own... see more
  • LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW RePOP we have a trailer with a release date
Happens to the best of us. Sometimes while I wait for the games to have all the DLCs like I usually do, they slip my mind completely and a year or two down the line I stumble upon them in reviews or lists and am all like "Oh yeah, I wanted to play that..." see more
  • How many games from Eurogamer's list have you played?
Hello Legion gamers! Here is a bit of trivia: last week, Eurogamer celebrated its 25th birthday. While Game Informer, sadly, closed down shop, Eurogamer seems to be doing well. To mark the occasion, they presented a list of the "100 best video games to play right now". According to them. And... see more
  • Vampire: The Masquerade - Reckoning of New York is out today!
@DracoTarot But hey, in the meantime there is this trilogy to try. Though it is "Mixed" on Steam (with 21 votes, though), so... May need to give it a few weeks, two previous games of the set ended up with Mostly Positive in the end. see more
  • Vampire: The Masquerade - Reckoning of New York is out today!
@DracoTarot There may be a difference between not rushing and being in "production hell", and at this point, I am not sure which one it was with Bloodlines 2. It was first announced in 2019, which is not that long ago on the one hand, but long enough to be sus on the other. And then there were... see more
  • Positive Media Day: Batman!
@DracoTarot I probably won't, my backlog is too long as it is, but I'd be happy to hear your opinion (or rant) when you do 😉 see more
  • The Borderlands movie is bad...people say.
@DracoTarot I think it may be the format thing: seems to me that game adaptations that are animated generally do better than live-action ones, with the possible exception of Fallout or, arguably, Last of Us (debatable). The animated format allows for more flexibility and special effects that games... see more
  • LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW RePOP we have a trailer with a release date
@GoLLuM13 Well, it's out: Will probably give it a try sometime this winter. see more
  • Check out Netflix's Leviathan anime teaser!
@GoLLuM13 To tell the truth, it was on my list, but I read some reviews that claimed it to be cliched. I may give it another chance, I mean, what was cliched back in the 2000s may be a refreshing retro in the 2020s (now I feel old 😅). But not right now, I am currently in the middle of... see more

    @ZaidH I had and I hadn't 😅 And thank you 😊 see more
  • Farewell Game Informer...
@ZaidH There is always something going on. But on a more positive note, the devs claim that the "Like a Dragon series will keep being about middle-aged guys doing middle-aged guy things". Which is all good and well, I suppose. Faces may change if the core stays the same. After all, it is hard to... see more
  • 🥇 Legion Medal Board - August 2024
This may be a bit of a random question here, but have you played the game called "The Next Big Thing"? see more
  • Games that teach you history
Hello Legion gamers! This week, @JokerZida and I are talking about Total War: EMPIRE and possible educational aspects of it. This made me think: games are by definition a works of fiction, but some may be more historically accurate than others. For example, the abovementioned Total War:... see more

@JokerZida Can you try to orchestrate some unrealistic but interesting scenarios? Like building a socialist utopia in African desserts or making Native Americans colonize Europe? see more
  • Check out Netflix's Leviathan anime teaser!
Hello Legion Gamers! Those of us who grew up partially in 2000s, in a more civilised time when people read books on paper more often than on smartphones (actually, I am not sure what the ratio is today, I am just ignorantly assuming here) may remember a Leviathan trilogy by Scott Westerfeld. ... see more

@DracoTarot Well, you were right: Your powers of divination and/or application of common sense have triumphed once again 😉 Have you watched it for sh@ts and giggles like you wanted yet? see more
  • Who is ready for Fallout London?
@Hammad23 and @ChristianRasmussen here is another titbit: not about this mod, but about post-apocalypse in the good old UK. Atomfall is to be released in March 2025: By the looks of it, think "Fallout in British countryside". Hopefully, it will be good. see more
  • Microsoft Unknown Programs 🪟
@JokerZida Thank you for this! The most useful for me would probably be PowerRename, I would not need it often, but on occasions when I would, it could save me a lot of time. Although, there is one function that I wish Microsoft would include in their future products: folder size measurement. As... see more
  • Total War: EMPIRE Plants its Flag on iOS & Android in Autumn 2024
@JokerZida Do they translate to modern communities? For example, in Tropico, there are groups as well, but they are all satirically exaggerated for the farce effect. Total War is more serious than that. But what Tropico tries to do is to satire the modern society by doing those exaggerations. Does... see more
