  • The Alters is out!
@Telomina That's not necessarily a bad thing: the game is well-received, but even the best of them these days have a few patches to polish them off. A couple of years will do it for sure, though I am hoping that there would be an earlier option. Winter sale, perhaps. see more
  • Welcome to the 📖 Legion Book Club 📖
@ZaidH It used to be the case back when I was in school. The standards have slipped since then 😢 Also, about The Brothers Karamazov, I am on the fence about this one: it was given to us during the second half of the last year of school. Which is an appropriate age, but not a really good timing:... see more
  • DoctorElditch is going on vacation!
Demon Slayer latte only this month. On a related note, while there is no official collaboration between Starbucks and Demon Slayer, many fans seem to be thinking along those line, even desiging parody stuff like this: I'd say it has more action than Orient Express, this train has more than... see more
  • Steam is having the Zombies vs Vampires Fest 2025!
@ZaidH Thank you 😊 It was ok, I celebrated it in an old castle that was converted into a hotel. Well, Silksong has transcended the normal "delayed" status all the way to the meme zone, along with Bloodlines 2. It was high time for them to try and do something about it 😅 Ah, congratulations!... see more
  • The Alters is out!
Hello Legion Gamers! A small reminder, so it would not fly under your radar: remember The Alters? A survival game about Jan Dolski and his alternative versions? Well, the time has finally come, and it is out today: It got some very good reviews already, with an 86 score on Metacritic, which... see more
  • Steam is having the Steam Next Fest - June 2025 Edition!
@DracoTarot I am sure they will, but that's when we'll need to fork out our hard-earned dough to play them. Then again, a good game deserves that, and demos help us to tell if the game is worth our business, so I am all for them. see more
  • Steam is having the Zombies vs Vampires Fest 2025!
@DracoTarot Have you played the first Atomic Heart? It is on my list, but there is one more DLC coming that I am waiting for before I can play it. see more
  • Date Everything is coming out next week!
@DracoTarot Even if not a Tarot deck, there will probably be something, with over 100 characters... see more
  • Epic Games Store Free Game 12-19 June!
@DracoTarot For you, it will probably hit closer to home. For me, all tourism-related sims feel different now after working in it for a while 😅 see more
  • Steam is having Lovecraftian Days 2025!
@DracoTarot That made me think of that second season of Tuca and Bertie, where moss overtook everything: Hopefully, it will not be the case for you. Ah well, maybe they will still expand into your area sometime in the future. Are they growing in their coverage? see more
  • Steam is having the Zombies vs Vampires Fest 2025!
@DracoTarot Ah, sweet peanut snacks would work better, I like peanut sherbet: To be honest, I am not sure about their availability; they are not widespread where I live either. I got a taste for them back when I was working in Myanmar about 10 years ago, and now I periodically import some... see more
  • Steam is having a #TurnBasedThursdayFest!
@DracoTarot Long Gone Days has an interesting narrative and message. Though I would not call them all interesting, I played some before and they were ok, but nothing to write home about. Templar Battleforce or Hard West, for example. Not bad, but average. Which was particularly downcasting for that... see more

@DracoTarot Bit of a shame that those are just demos, but it is still good 😉 see more
  • What underrated PC games do you recommend in 2025?
@dela2509991 I want to say there are plenty of indie games, though some are more popular than others, rivalling AAA projects in popularity. For example, two months ago (on the 7th of April), the Primitive Pixels Games indie studio put their debut project, a game called Seed of Nostalgia (in... see more

@Telomina I was looking through some of the Next Fest there on offers, and I came accross one more that I thought you may find interesting, it's called Abra-Cooking-Dabra: It's a cooking card game with a solitaire twist. Not sure if you like solitaire, but the overall premise looked... see more

@ChristianRasmussen I liked FTL when it came out, but you're right, it is fast and got repetitive after a while. My biggest issue with it, though, is that there is no set macro-goal. Which, I admit, is often the case with roguelike games. But some of them, like Dead Cells or Hades, have this big... see more

Here is an extended showcase presenation for you: This is an in-depth look at the 3 big upcoming games: Atomic Heart 2, The Cube and, finally, ILL, which is the last part. You may be interested to listen how much effort they put into physics and making "the most realistic dismemberment in... see more

@miskkie They are similar, Hospital came before Museum, though, so Museum may have somewhat more polished mechanics. Also, the impact of decor makes more sense there 😅 Theme Hospital was very good for its time, I remember playing it back when I was a schoolboy. Weirdly, I did not get much... see more

@AgariciRo They do look alike and cartoonish, but I want to say that it is a symptom of a majority of sims, there is not enough sense (and purpose, to be fair) in having many variations of patients or customers. Which cartoon did it remind you of? see more
  • Epic Games Store Free Game 12-19 June!
@ChristianRasmussen Indeed, they are quite humorous, which is a good take for management sims, I think. Personally, I would not mind them taking a jab at the pharmaceutical industry as well as hospital management, but even in this light-hearted humour form, it is nice. see more
