  • INTERVIEW with the creators of NEVA
@j7schultz alas, Christmas is often a bittersweet holiday. And even the vibe gets old before it arrives, at least, for me. I can only stomach the "Last Christmas I Gave You My Heart" song so many times before it starts causing me nausea. But hey, on the bright side, with technology nowadays,... see more
  • A bit of sad news: no more Deus Ex 🙁
@Farmaceuta even the developer of the original Deus Ex Warren Spector was puzzled by Embracer decision, he shared just recently (along with some interesting thoughts about how games evolve being relevant). I wonder how they made this particular decision. see more
  • Do Ys games need to be played in succession?
@CandelaSynth even if the stories are different, there can be common lore points, or same universe or planet, or recurring minor characters. JRPGs are known for having those. But then again, not sure if it would really be such a loss if I did not know those bits when playing. see more
  • INTERVIEW with the creators of NEVA
@j7schultz It'd be great if you could! But do take care of yourself and take breaks when you need them. November is a gloomy time, and if it were not enough, it is also a busy pre-festival time. But hey, soon enough we'll have some celebrations and Christmas cheer, just need to hold on till then 😉... see more
  • INTERVIEW with the creators of NEVA
Hello Legion Gamers! Last week, our very own @CandelaSynth had the pleasure of chatting with Conrad Roset, the art director of Neva and one of the three pillars who founded Nomada Studio. Below is a transcript of their conversation, translated into English, where he shares more information about... see more
  • News From Dreamhack Winter 2023!
@Cysero A trip down the memory lane, eh? 😉 see more
  • Spooky music for October!
@DracoTarot That is a low number, but high enough to be a challenge to fill for some... But the fact that you need permission for a party is a surprise. I mean, it is only neighbourly and polite to ask permission from neighbours, I'd do that even if it was not a requirement, but why does the metro... see more
  • When it comes to horror, do you like watching or playing?
@DracoTarot Alas, but all we can do is wait... But at least the anticipation this time is for something good and not for how we were anticipating Crow to flop 😅 I finished Hysteria!. To be honest, I was somewhat disappointed. It started strong enough but lost much of its steam towards the middle... see more
  • Do you know any good Lovecraftian games?
@DracoTarot Something tangible may be more tempting. But codes may have their uses, you do not need to have a post parcel for those, so can use them right away and no fear of them getting lost in transit. see more
  • Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 released a new trailer!
@SKYTRiXSHA That's fair. It seems that hats have a special place in the game character wardrobe, more popular than any other item of clothing. Even birds are wearing some... see more
  • Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 released a new trailer!
@DracoTarot Considering how long it's been stuck in development, I guess it is to be expected, lest we want them to take even more time to upgrade the graphics, too... It is what it is, I guess. see more
  • Delta Force Official Beta on 5 DEC
@JokerZida Passion for playing all games, or just some? Maybe there is a gamer community or society in the uni? When I was a student, mine had something like that. Though I always preferred singleplayer games with compelling storylines. see more
  • Games that teach you history
@JokerZida It is interesting how with historic games there can be one of the two approaches: you can either just experience that period somewhat, like in Kingdom Come: Deliverance, or you can play the "what if" scenarios like in Europa Universalis or Total War where you can simulate alternative... see more
  • Welcome to the 📖 Legion Book Club 📖
@ZaidH Aww, you are too kind 😊 Though I am not sure how fitting something like this would be in Mass Effect. BioWare just released that new Dragon Age Veilguard, and from the reviews that I read online, it seems that one of the most divisive aspects of the game for gamers may be the writing: some... see more
  • Welcome to the 📖 Legion Book Club 📖
I imagine it as something like this: Interviewer: Director Shepard, it's been a year since you repelled the Reaper invasion and the galaxy entered an unprecedented era of peace with Repers integrated and working alongside the rest of Galaxy races. Please tell our viewers, how did you achieve... see more
  • Nagoshi Studio is celebrating its third anniversary!
@ZaidH Who knows, I stopped predicting long time ago. Industry is so turbulent and some releases are so controversial that I can't figure out where the wind is blowing no more... 😖 see more
  • When it comes to horror, do you like watching or playing?
@DracoTarot Looks like Nosferatu is getting good reviews. This is encouraging after Crow, good for Bill Skarsgård. see more
  • SEGA will remove some games from sale!
@miskkie Nice, could be nostalgic for you then. Out of all of the games on the list, I only played Golden Axe on PC back in the 1990s. And I played Crazy Taxi in an arcade a few times. see more
  • Welcome to the 📖 Legion Book Club 📖
@ZaidH I'd say Shepard is never given the opportunity to look into the scale of things. I mean, to truly see how inefficient an organisation is, convincingly from a narrative perspective you need to experience it from the inside. But Shepard is a Specter, not a politician or administrator, he can... see more
