Great find! Freebies are awesome! see more
  • Which is best among the latest Lenovo Legion laptops for heavy-duty gaming?
They're all equally good in terms of providing a top-tier cooling performance during gaming, that is not a compromise made with lower tier models when it comes to Legions. Their thermal designs are created using similar goals, so they will all throttle in the same conditions but most of the time... see more
  • Two Free Games on Steam ⏰
Good find! Free games are awesome! see more
  • AMD Ryzen 400 refresh
I wouldn't worry about finding a Ryzen 400-series CPU over a 300-series, it's just a refresh, they both use TSMC's 4nm process with no major changes so the performance difference is minuscule. Some models just have 6% higher clocked memory, which also requires the device vendor to also use faster... see more
  • Witcher 3 is coming back with a new expansion! - Songs of the Past
Witcher 3 is awesome, I'll definitely try it! see more
  • Legion 5i pro battery draining too fast
@UnapologeticDino I don't have an up do date recommendation, generally the reputable brands mentioned (Romoss, Baseus, Anker, and also Xiaomi) offer the best quality and reliability. The same goes for the cables, although going with a higher spec of 100W or 240W is one way to avoid... see more
  • Legion 5i pro battery draining too fast
15W battery drain when idling is quite low already, if you're not gaming on battery then restarting and disabling the Nvidia card in the BIOS could reduce it slightly. But that generation of Intel CPUs just isn't power efficient, it's one reason why they're much cheaper than monolithic Ryzen or... see more
  • AI PCs and Gaming: What’s Your Take?
At the moment, no, because there isn't any useful or functional AI available which could improve my gaming experience in any way. I've asked AI to find guides and troubleshooting steps in games and it just fails in finding information or solutions. This could change with time but right now guides... see more
  • Ubisoft is in danger!!
They've become a danger to themselves, how did that happen... But Ubisoft isn't small, this only matters for shareholders and executives. They will solve this by firing some employees, putting pressure on the remaining employees to do better and that's the solution! see more
  • Nvidia reportedly won't release any new RTX graphics cards this year, and the RTX 60-series is said to be pushed back, too
Turns out we're getting one after all, the RTX 5070 laptop GPU with 12GB GDDR7 is confirmed and on paper it's a great option to have but pricing and availability is likely going to be awful. They didn't even give it the Super name, which will make finding the 12GB model on sales listings a... see more
  • Intel B580
The Arc B580 is alright, it's not bad but its price doesn't justify ignoring the much more seamless experience of GeForce drivers and game compatibility. It's great when 12GB VRAM is required and that's about it. see more
  • minimum VRAM for your next
If I were to buy a graphics card for the next 1-2 years then 12GB is just fine. If I wanted to keep the graphics card longer than that, then 16GB would be desirable, but such cards cost just too much at the moment. Reduced texture quality and foliage does not make games unplayable anyhow. see more
  • How many 4090s will it take to get as much power as a single 5090?
About 1⅓ in terms of raw performance, VRAM amount or power limit. So already more than one RTX 4090 would outperform the RTX 5090, given the task supports multiple graphics cards, scales properly and allows combined VRAM usage. In games however, multi-GPU support is long gone, so no matter how many... see more
  • Graphics update in Minecraft! ⛏️
The screenshots look awesome! Hopefully it will be better optimized than modded shaders, those are just way too performance intensive compared to the visual upgrades on offer! see more
  • way of gaming with the keyboard
I've been using them since the Logitech G15, never had wrist pain issues! see more
  • Roblox Has Officially Been Banned in Yet Another Country
Makes sense to me, I've seen videos of some horrible Roblox servers and they're certainly not for children. But Egpyt isn't Roblox's biggest market, so it's unlikely moderation changes will be introduced. see more
  • DLSS and Frame Gen
I can tell the difference but only because using native resolution forces TAA in most modern games and that has huge visual issues already, MSAA would still look better than DLSS 4, although with a performance hit. At least giving an MSAA option would be great to get better visuals when using... see more
  • Legion Go 2 Goes SteamOS, Sony AI, and January’s Game Pass Heavy Hitters! 🔥
SteamOS option for handhelds is the way to go! Windows just has too much bulk for a focused gaming device, good choice by the Lenovo Legion Go team! see more
  • What Lenovo machine do you guys recommend for my specific purpose?
Depends on your budget and how seriously you take Escape From Tarkov, spending more will get you a better experience in the game, not sure about animation work, if it's Blender then higher specs will let you render quicker. Escape From Tarkov has some very demanding system requirements, so even... see more
  • Stop Killing Games
Starting with game companies requiring to list when they are going to shut down the game servers would be a start and way more important in my opinion. Not much use of an offline mode or unofficial servers when it just isn't the same experience that players initially paid for. I'd be more likely to... see more
