my favorite female gaming character is Triss Merigold from The Witcher 3
she is kind, courageous, decent , stands by her morals and supports her friends and family no matter what.
Question: How could we normalize the Gaming as a professional career and work field in the Middle East?

@UnapologeticDino My favorite female gaming character is Tracer from the Overwatch franchise. She is a fast-paced, agile, and playful character who is always up for a challenge. She is also a strong and independent woman who is not afraid to stand up for herself. I think she is a great role model for young girls who are interested in gaming.
Here are some ways we can empower more women to consider esports as a career choice:
Provide more visibility for female gamers. This can be done by featuring more female gamers in esports media and marketing, and by supporting female-only esports tournaments and leagues.
Create more opportunities for women to get involved in esports. This can be done by providing more scholarships and mentoring programs for female gamers, and by encouraging schools and universities to start esports teams for women.
Address the issue of sexism and harassment in esports. This is a major barrier for women who want to participate in esports, and it needs to be addressed in order to create a more welcoming and inclusive environment.
Support female game developers and creators. When more women are involved in the creation of video games, it will lead to more games that feature strong and positive female characters. This will help to change the perception of gaming as a male-dominated hobby.
I believe that by taking these steps, we can create a more welcoming and inclusive environment for women in esports. This will encourage more girls and women to get involved in gaming and esports, and it will help to close the gender gap in this growing industry. -
@UnapologeticDino
My favorite female gaming character is Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider series.🤩😍 -
@UnapologeticDino I am excited for the livestream of #HerLegion Clan with Meshael! I have a few questions for her:
- What advice would you give to young women who are interested in pursuing a career in esports?
- What are some of the challenges that women face in esports?
- How can we overcome these challenges?
- What are your thoughts on the growth of women's esports?
- What do you think the future holds for women in this industry?
- What are your favorite games to play?
- What games do you think are most welcoming to women?
- What is your favorite thing about being a part of the HerLegion Clan?
- What are your thoughts on the role of technology in empowering women in esports?
- How can technology be used to create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for women in this industry?
I am sure Meshael will have some great insights to share on these topics. I am looking forward to hearing her thoughts! -
My favorite female gaming character is Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider series.And the character “Aloy” in Horizon
-
@UnapologeticDino ،، Aloy from the game horizon , by creating electronic game tournaments for women with large financial prizes to encourage them to enter the field of electronic games
- - - Updated - - -
Why did you join the field of electronic games? How did this affect your personal life? How did you join and become a professional in this field? -
My favorite female gaming character is Jill Valentine from Resident Evil.
I don't think there is discrimination against gaming females including characters and athletes.
Most cases I found a female character to play with and although I am male I tend to use a female character as much as it's available.
I think it's natural and the best to do to enhance it is not to raisto questions about such ideas.

@Afahmy
I just want to add that I have 2 daughters and they usually beat the hell out of me while gaming. I never felt any advantage on them for being a male... not in any way

@Afahmy
What I want to say,
Gaming is like anything online being done using electronic equipment.
It doesn't have female/male characteristics.
even advertisement for esport most of the time do include female characters.

@Afahmy
If we are talking about the environment in the games, it also doesn't have female/male characteristics.
I mean for example you can't have Barbie colors in a war zone or alien environment.
my point is, the way things are right now has no problem.

@Afahmy
Last thing,
If anyone is thinking about creating leagues only for female athletes... that would be a terrible idea and then it will promote for opposite idea
- - - Updated - - -
@INFERNO03
I don't agree with you.
gamers community has no problem whatsoever with female esports athletes.
I know girls gamers who gets challenged everyday by male athletes because they are well-known as good players and up to good reputation challenge.

@Entably
In my opinion, having special events/tournaments/leagues specifically for female athletes is a bad idea.
This will only promote a false idea about male superiority in esports!!
why in the world would a male have any advantage over female in esports?
Does esports need female athletes to get testosterone injection 💉 to be a good competitive player??!!😄
Does it need much of muscles 💪 or manly voice to be an esports champion?! 😄

@FadyGameel
This is absolutely important question specially for esports athletes both males and females.
Middle East culture consider gaming a waist of time needed for study or work. Both young and adult athletes have a problem of acceptance in society.
For example, there is no official "Esports Athlete" job category recognition. In fact %99 of Middle Eastern society would see it ridiculous for someone to introduce her/him self as such... would be mucked, bullied or rejected.
for young athletes, parents would consider esports as an addiction to games that is an obstacle in the young person way to the standard dream job that depends on spending all time in studying.
Emphasizing Esports events/tournaments/leagues and its results is very important. -
So excited for the event can't wait♥️🔥
I usually watch Nourstarz and Meshael for gaming content♥️
My favourite female gaming character is Elizabeth from Bioshock franchise♥️
We can empower female gaming by providing them proper hardware and a safe friendly gaming community
My question to Meshael
How to be a pro player like you?
Is esports world is fun and educating or does it require unbearable efforts?
How can we empower female gaming to push them to higher levels of professionality?
What was your first game and the game you loved the most made you get into gaming world?
Thank you. -
@UnapologeticDino
Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider series, Samus Aran from the Metroid series, Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn, and Chun-Li from Street Fighter.
how can we empower more women to consider Esports as a career choice?
Empowering more women to consider esports as a career choice is crucial for fostering diversity and inclusivity within the industry. Here are some strategies to help achieve this goal:
Education and Awareness: Raise awareness about the opportunities available in esports through educational initiatives. Organize workshops, seminars, and career fairs specifically targeting young women, highlighting potential careers in the industry, such as professional players, coaches, analysts, commentators, content creators, or event organizers.
Role Models and Mentorship: Showcase successful women already involved in esports as role models. Highlight their achievements and share their stories to inspire and motivate aspiring women. Establish mentorship programs where experienced women in esports can guide and support newcomers, providing valuable advice and insights.
Community Building: Encourage the formation of supportive communities for women in esports. Create online platforms, forums, or social media groups where women can connect, share experiences, and collaborate. This can help foster a sense of belonging and provide a support network for women in the industry.
Skill Development: Offer training programs and resources tailored specifically for women interested in esports. Provide opportunities for women to develop their skills in-game mechanics, strategy, teamwork, leadership, and communication. This can be done through workshops, boot camps, online courses, or training academies.
Addressing Stereotypes and Toxicity: Work towards eliminating gender stereotypes and combating toxic behavior within the esports community. Encourage fair treatment, respect, and inclusivity for all participants. Implement codes of conduct, enforce strict anti-harassment policies, and provide reporting mechanisms to create a safe and welcoming environment for women.
Scholarships and Financial Support: Establish scholarships or financial aid programs to support women pursuing esports-related education or training. This can help remove financial barriers and make esports more accessible as a career choice.
Visibility and Representation: Promote the visibility and representation of women in esports across various platforms. Encourage tournament organizers, content creators, and media outlets to feature more women in their broadcasts, articles, and promotional materials. This can help normalize the presence of women in the industry and inspire others to follow suit.
Partnerships and Collaborations: Foster collaborations between esports organizations, educational institutions, and women's advocacy groups. By working together, they can develop initiatives, sponsorships, and programs that specifically target the empowerment and inclusion of women in esports.
