@DracoTarot To be honest, for me, console vs PC was always more about the controller vs keyboard+mouse debate. Not sure if this is accurate (probably not), for me, it was just easier to look at it this way: consoles are for controllers, PC are for keyboards, some people like one more than the other. Of course, there are other factors, graphics cards, portability, processing power, and all that, but for me it was always easier to look for something tangible.

I'll do anything to have one as a Christmas gift under my tree. I mean anything. 😅😂

@DoctorEldritch Well, a pc still has the edge over a console. I mean almost any controller these days are able to work on a pc with the correct software. Even a mouse and keyboards are compatible with a console especially on a Xbox.

I understand portability. A console is much more manageable when moving from one spot to another or tag along to someone's home. A pc is a bit bulky expext a laptop.

That's my problem. I've done a lot more for a whole lot less or for absolutely nothing in return. I never seem to receive such wonderful blessings from those whom I blessed in the past. I must be happy with a pair of socks or underwear. I mean it's something you buy for yourself when you need it or when they are full of holes. 😅😂

@DracoTarot Indeed. I have a controller. I rarely use it, but sometimes it is preferable to a keyboard, I find that it is good for 2-D metroidivanias like Dead Cells or Hollow Knight. But I can't get used to it in 3-D environments, I always revert to keyboards then 😅

True, but to play on a console, you need a TV or a monitor, and for a laptop, you don't. And you could hardly take a console on a trip with you or be able to play comfortably in, say, a hotel room or something. I guess it may depend on how far you need to portable it to a friend's house, then console is good, but if you need something portable to take to another city or even abroad, a laptop is probably a better option.

Erm, I don't know, socks and underwear are a staple gift for dads, there are memes about it and everything. Besides, necessities are important. But I want to ask, are you not getting gifts that would add to your vape or Tarot deck collections? I have a collection of figurines, and quite often the gifts I get are all about adding to that collection, even if I specifically ask for something else 😅
