We’re rolling into Question 3, and your streak is starting to matter.

Tell us which game carried your year and why. Maybe it kept your group chat alive, maybe it saved your mood after a long day, maybe it’s the game you always boot up on your Legion device.

Let your unique referral link ride along in the same places you talk about that game so your regular squad can drop their picks too.

Question for week 3 is: Which game is your personal Game of the Year, and what makes it special?

    I'd choose Hogwarts Legacy.
I consider it one of my favorites because of the magical world, character customization, the unique characters I meet in the game, and the story itself is very good.

Game of the Year: Arc Raiders

What makes it special: Even though I haven’t played it myself, everything about Arc Raiders screams innovation. From what I’ve seen, it blends fast-paced combat with teamwork and strategy in a way that really stands out. The world design looks immersive, the missions feel dynamic, and the gameplay seems to reward both skill and coordination. It’s one of those games that instantly grabs attention just from how unique and polished it looks.

It’s challenging but super fun, with lots of puzzles to solve along the way. The world is stunning, the music is hauntingly beautiful, and every challenge feels rewarding. It’s the kind of game that makes you lose track of time while exploring, discovering secrets, and mastering tricky battles. Definitely kept my mood up!

This is a hard question since my GOTY didn't release in 2025. The games that were nominated, I only played through Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and The Alters, and both games I deem remarkable. CO:E33 deserved GOTY.

The game that I play annually, because I love it, is Cyberpunk 2077. I have played that game since v1. I lived through every version, and CDPR's redemption arc, also how Phantom Liberty changed the game.

It is a singleplayer title so there are no real shared experiences other than opinions. What the game does well, is give you, the player, perspective. Not many storywriters can achieve that immersion, that inner inception that starts to peel away the many layers on a person. The game is not so much about V, Silverhand, Reed, So Mi, and others; it is about you. There is real impact contained therein. Decisions matter; there is true urgency.

Every year, I replay the game, and get touched in all new ways. There are many other games that achieves this, but cyberpunk is where my heart is. Well written, and still my GOTY.

I love Call of Duty: Warzone because of the competition between 99 players. I enjoy competing for first place 🥇, and during team fights, the adrenaline rush is high and the excitement is off the charts 💪. I hope to win a Legion laptop 💻 so I can play with the best settings, smoothly, and with strong performance, and avoid frame drops and all those things that ruin the game for us 😒

    Same with KarimBonda. ARC Raiders

What makes it special. The blend of PvE and PvP, the world is both gorgeous and terrifying, the polished gunplay, smooth movement, music, and the Community itself. FYI, it won the award for Best Multiplayer Game at The Game Awards for a reason.

@UnapologeticDino GOTY? Something like Expedition 33, Dispatch, even Cyberpunk or BG3...

But actually, for me this year was all about Stardew Valley.

More streams doing that than anything else.

The game that carried my year was Fortnite as it became our digital hangout, where late-night laughs replaced bad days, clutch moments turned into inside jokes, and every login felt like stepping into a world that always knew how to lift my mood.
