    Howl-o Legion Gamers!

In these spooky times, how about a little spooky game? Do you know those books where you can be the main character (this is how people played games before computers)? 😉

Even if not, here is a chance to be a part of a story! And the best part is, what story it will be is up to you! It can end up horrifying or thrilling or dramatic or even funny, bound to your imagination and shaped by your creativity!

So how does it work? Well, the rules are simple:

    1. Continue what the previous person wrote with your own part. Please use quotation marks when you post so everyone would see what was written before you!
    2. Make your addition to the story, please try to write it in 1-2 sentences at a time. Add an image if you want, but you don't have to!
    3. Wait for the next addition or 5 hours before you put your next part again.
That's it, clear and simple! And we start with a spooky Legion Halloween story, titled...

    The Grievous Séance

It was a dark and stormy October night. The old mansion was grim and venerable, torrent knocking on its roof and wind howling in through the ancient cracks. All windows but one were dark, but here, in the large living room, life lingered. Candles were lit, and several people sat in a circle, hands held on a big round table. The Séance was about to begin…

The first words were uttered and the intent was clear. A spirit of the olden days was needed to lend an ear.

After uttering the words to an old spirit invocation rhyme, they waited, but nothing happened. The group looked at each other and waited some more, beginning to feel unsure about what they were trying to do. Almost ready to give up, they jumped in fright as they were suddenly plunged into darkness when a gust of wind blew out the candles.

"Seconds passed, then they became minutes... after what seemed to have been an eternity a loud thudding noise occurred in the distance and echoed through the empty halls of the mansion. Then the echo was replaced by a staccato of distant steps seemingly drawing closer."
