@DracoTarot I prefer mage characters too, but I am not very slippery. I prefer to put all in AoE spells and march through the land like the cleansing storm of fire.

It is a nice story, but your current name is nice too. Do you know a game called Hand of Fate?

@DoctorEldritch I had the game and installed it on my PC. It won't run for some reason. The runtime error message kept popping up. Thought it was a patch or maybe graphics drivers.

Haven't tried since to run the game. Maybe I must give it a go again. Oh, yea I have no GPU.

@DracoTarot I just mentioned it because it uses Tarot as a plot device, but it is a nice game, too. And narrator won a prize for voice acting. But yeah, having no GPU is no fun. Hang in there.

@DoctorEldritch I have a few Tarot decks of my own and the game has my attention now. I see the requirements are not that high. I will try to install the game again and see if it works. Even on low graphics, I'll give it a try. 😊

@DracoTarot Then maybe take a look at The Cartomancy Anthology:

They are majorly based on the Tarot concept and offer a lot of different gaming experiences.

Or, if you like detective quests and a more traditional gaming experience, there is a stylish Dance of Death: Du Lac & Fey.

Victorian London was the time of seances and spiritism, and Tarot deviations were part of the vibe, and this game features some as well.

I do not have a Tarot deck and do not know how to do any deviations using it, in terms of mechanics, but I like the symbolism behind the cards, so I keep an eye out for games like these that would use that.

@DoctorEldritch I enjoyed Dance of Death. It was well put together for me. I had no clue The Cartomancy Anthology existed. Thank you for the info.

I know some decks by heart and regularly do divination on request. It's like a part-time thing. I do have profiles online too.

Another secret of mine is in the open. I know some do not approve of Esoteric services. Oh well everyone for themselves. 😁

@DracoTarot The Cartomancy Anthology is very not demanding and diverse, so hopefully you can play it even with no GPU.

What do you mean some decks, I thought there was just one deck, the Arcana (Major/Minor), it's just that cards look different depending on the artist. Or do you mean the card spreads like Pentagram or Celtic Cross?

Ah, well, good to know in case anyone needs some divinations done. Personally, I am not against Esoteric services, but I look at them as entertainment rather than actual predictions. Like fortune cookies.

@DoctorEldritch there are other decks too. Major and Minor decks are the most common.

Did you know even normal playing cards can be used as a Major or Minor Arcana? Numerology is another form of cartomancy.

You also get divination cards not having any Arcana relation. They have illustrations but do have different meanings. They are not used for Lightwork!

I use the tarotof Marseilles, the Rider–Waite–Smith tarot deck, and the Thoth tarot

The sites I'm on clearly state" for entertainment purposes only." I'm an Empath so all I assist with is giving my advice in a situation. I serve merely as a guide and the individual must use the information at their own discretion. The choices will be up to them and how to move forward.

I never use words such as you "shall", "will" and "it's going happen or not."

I also do not rely on timelines. It's not for me to decide when things will take a turn in the person's life and once again up to them to decide and to rely on their own energies.

They are not predictions, only a way to give clarity and understanding. 😁

I knew you could play with Minor Arcana, which is basic playing cards with other names, but I did not know you can play with the Major one. Though those are the only decks I know, I know there are others but I thought they can't be called Tarot but rather something else. But I have not looked into it, so it's just my impression.

I like the Rider–Waite–Smith the most I think it has that "traditional vibe". Marseilles is not bad, but maybe too styled. Thoth is too artsy for me.

If it is clear to all involved that it is entertainment, it can be a nice way to spend an evening. Like those Victorian Seances and the like.
