Are you a fan of clackity keyboards or do you rather stick with membrane keyboards? Low or high profile? Full size or smaller form factor?

I currently have two keyboards, because I was gifted a new one that's pretty good, but my old one is way too good to retire it yet, so I still plan on using it when I get a bit more storage near my setup. It also serves as an excellent blunt weapon, because it has a solid metal case and is ridiculously heavy for something so small.

The blunt weapon is Ducky Mecha Mini, a 60% size keyboard with MK Silent Red switches. It took some adjustment to play games without the F keys, but I got used to that soon enough. And now I got the new Logitech G715 keyboard, which is TKL... and I am still not using those extra keys again, hah. I thought I could use the keyboard on the couch, but right now the wireless just declutters my desk a little bit. I am currently in the process of tidying up my flat that looks way too much like a student cave. The switches in that keyboard are priorietary Logitech ones, GX Linear, which are supposedly similar to MX Red. From my testing, it does feel similar, the GX one sometimes has a doble type from edge bounce, but it is probably firmware problem. Windows has an option that can eliminate that, so it's not an issue.

I'd prefer using a Mechanical ultra low profile full size keyboard.

I got used to low profile keyboards because most of my past times I was on a laptop so I can't give up on low profile.

    Good subject 😁
I like full size keyboards (I use a lot of numbers on Excel 😜) and I like tactile switches (equivalent to Brown if I'm not mistaken) my current keyboard uses GL Tactile switches (and yes it is a Logitech 😁). I don't like when the keyboard is flat, I like to have at least a little angle, but I guess we get used to it and I totally hate clicky switches, I used to have a clicky razer I felt like I was back in the past with a typing machine 🤣
There are some options that I like on a keyboard (I can't buy a keyboard without, those) I like when they have multimedia button (play, pause ...), volume wheel and last but not least dedicated macro keys. Wireless (like the one I have) is a good option, but not a dealbreaker.

@GoLLuM13 Oh, I really like browns for typing. I just had to compromise things because I managed to hurt my wrist in my days of fully hardcore gaming. Turns out, spamming the stiffer keys for hours didn't end well and I got carpal tunnel syndrome. The reds have served me better in gaming, but typing on them feels a bit flat. I got used to it, but when sometimes typing on the old brown keyboard at my parents' place... oh the click.

My mum totally loves the brown switches. I just hate being in the same room with her when she uses it. She bottoms out the keys. 😂

I was recently introduced to the low profile idea, I had no clue what was that, so I bought a basic membrane low profile keyboard (Dell KB216p) to give it a try and guess what it turned out to be better than any other keyboard I used before, so I plan to get a new high end one and begin a new journey

@Saka I have a Gamdias Hermes M5A Mechanical Gaming Keyboard. It's not one of the most eye-catching keyboards but has all the functions I need.

    Multi-Color Keycaps / Up to 10 Fn + Multimedia Key / Rigid Aluminum Backplate / Multi-Colored LED Effect / Certified Optical Switches / Hermes-M5A

It even has an aluminium bezel. Using it for two years now and it still looks fresh like the day I bought it.😁
