    As-Salam Alykum and Hello 👋

On this day, we want to discuss the changing prices of the electronic games market, and the extent to which games and players are affected by global inflation.

It seems that in the near future we will see a rise in the prices of electronic games before Sony announced the owner of the PlayStation devices to raise the prices of its devices.

    - Then followed by news from Valve, the owner of the famous Steam store, about its plans to inform developers to raise the prices of their games to match the inflation (for information, Steam does not specify the price of games, but tells developers at reasonable prices and the developer has the right to agree on their price or choose a price that suits him), and all will be affected by this. Stores, especially Argentine and Turkish.

Finally, the head of the Xbox platform has stated that they may raise the prices of the Xbox in the near future, given the global inflation that is taking place.

In your opinion, will this inflation affect the gaming market? Will it be positive or negative?!

Of course, it will be reflected, and the players will be indignant for a long time. In the incentive, regional prices for games have already begun to rise in price. Previously, you could buy cheaper games if you signed up from another country. Now it makes no sense to do this, prices have risen. (I'm talking about Steam). In short, a small crisis begins in the gaming market

Apparently the regional prices can be still lower, I just had a chat in another community about this where someone checked and confirmed that the nominal prices for Turkish were half of what they were in EUR. But they used to be closer to 10%. So it is a big change, and obviously, it will affect living in those countries the most. The people shopping in other currencies were a small minority and usually they can afford games anyway, but perhaps less frequently now.

But yeah, it isn't a good time for gamers now. Game prices are going up, hardware prices are going up. To be fair, other hobbies are getting more expensive too. Just uneasy times all around. 😨
