    wanted to add something else.
Video games increase mental abilities and spontaneity.
If you are a professional in a game, it increases self-confidence.
I made a lot of friends from video games
and also games have become a big part of my daily life

@QueenTomato Thank you for the opportunity.

I love video games. I don't have access to any PC or family computer before that's I only get interested on playing video games during my high school years when I got transferred to a town area. My very first game was Counter-Strike due to it was the popular game at that time, I also don't know how to properly use the keyboard and mouse, but later after hours spend, I get good at it. Aside from gaining friends which is still my gaming buddies until now when we got time, this game also help me pass my Typing subject. LOL.

I am now working here in UAE. And from time to time, I always play games. It gives me self fulfillment and its enjoyable in a way to relieve my stress and also unwind after a long day of work. Goodluck everyone!

Gaming had my back since I was 3 years old, running away (according to my mom) to go play Mario in the corner shop. Apparently The owner used to give me some 50c coins and put me on a cocacola xcrate so I could play.

I kind of peaked there and gaming was in and out of my life for a long time. Before lock down happened I was always out at an event or a party or doing something with people I barely knew and adding very little to my life in terms of interpersonal or emotional value.

When lock down started My housemate and I put our TV next to each other in the lounge and I played a COD game for the first time. And tbh, I really played online for the first time. We were out on adventure in a multitude of games and I asked myself "why did i never do this before?" it felt good, it felt right.

Since lock down I started streaming and met so many great people I would never have met otherwise. People who have genuinely had a positive impact on me and my journey as a person. I still play online games with some of them and it is just nice to catch up in such an absolutely insane way.

Since I've become a regular gamer I have a more positive disposition, I feel responsible to take care of the people around me, and I feel more driven to do things that I've always put off.

I'm also the person people go to at work to solve problema, this is 100% due to gaming.

Anyway TL;DR - gaming allowed me to meet people that feel closer to me than a lot of people I met in real life, I feel more comfortable with myself, more positive, and more inspired since I allowed gaming a larger role in my life

    @QueenTomato

I grew up watching my cousins play games over a console my family cannot afford.

The first thing I bought for myself after 6 months of working here in UAE is a midrange laptop, and since then I am proud and consider this as an achievement cause gaming has and will always be my stress reliever / comfort zone in my 29 years of living in this world. As an Overseas Filipino Worker who spent the last 4 years here in United Arab Emirates, being apart from my family, gaming saved my life multiple times cause I have been depressed when I first got here. I forgot how time pass whenever I am playing my favorite online games. I was fully emersed that all my worries and troubles disapper.

I would say I have evolved thru gaming by keeping it as hobby to channel my mood, emotions. Yeah, gaming improves our cognitive, strategic skill but for me whenever I am burnout with job or there is no time to socialize I know gaming will always be there just one power button away.

In the near future, I will see to it that me and my son/daughter will have a chance to play together. 🥰

    Hi everyone,
@QueenTomato I hope I am still in time for the competition.

Please bear with me and allow me to share my story.

There was once a young gamer named @Charly888. @Charly888 has always been interested in video games, but it wasn't until he faced some difficult obstacles in his life that he became fully immersed in gaming.
@Charly888 started suffering from depression and loneliness, and had turned to drugs/alcohol to cope. Well one day, he realized he needed to make a shift. He gravitated to online gaming to help him escape his problems and find a sense of direction and connectivity.
@Charly888 first found solace in the virtual world of gaming. He became fascinated in games that allowed him to experience fantasy worlds and embark on epic journeys. But as he played more, he discovered that gaming was more than simply a distraction from his challenges. It was a mechanism for him to gain skills and make connections that would help him succeed in the real world.
@Charly888 began his gaming journey by playing chess, rugby, athletics, soccer, and a variety of other online/TV games (a time where TV games were also trending). He discovered that by playing these games first in the virtual world and then in real life, he was able to enhance his skills. He quickly established himself as a great gamer, winning tournaments and raising donations for charity.

As he continued to play, @Charly888 discovered that he was fascinated by fantasy worlds, where he could develop his creativity and imagination without feeling restricted by the limits of the real world. He also recognized that gaming had the potential to be harmful if not treated in a healthy way. And that is when he discovered his mission/purpose: to help gamers navigating the virtual world responsibly and avoiding harming themselves.
@Charly888 was able to overcome his difficulties with depression and loneliness by pursuing his passion for gaming. He realized that the virtual world might be a significant tool for personal growth and development, and that the skills he obtained in gaming could help him flourish in real life.
@Charly888 aims to start a YouTube channel, blog, and/or other platforms to share his gaming experiences and provide healthy gaming tips. He encouraged other players to take regular breaks, set boundaries, and prioritize their mental/physical wellbeing. He even intends to organize online/offline gaming events to raise awareness and donations for mental health and addiction healing.

Winning this laptop will mean the world to @Charly888 and enable him to launch a platform for raising charitable donations. This would allow him to pursue his passions/goals while also assisting others in navigating the virtual world in a healthy manner.

Thank you for the opportunity to share my story.
