    Hello Legion Gamers!

Do you know what day it is today? It is the 6th of April! But more specifically, it is a Fun at Work day!

Of course, every day as Legion CM is fun thanks to all you awesome people. 😊 Especially memes and Game Nights.

But on a more serious note, I agree with some current research (the one I linked is of additional interest as it is based on China and Taiwan samples, where work culture differs somewhat from European and US) that there is always a place for humor in a workplace, and it may help to keep the spirits up, make the job easier and reduce levels of stress.

And there are ways to do it, for example, like this:

Perhaps it was not the best example. 😅

Still, the value of fun and humor at work has been the focus of businesses lately, which is a positive trend, and there are all sorts of seminars, training, and workshops available now to make the work environment more fun.

But there are ways to make work more fun even by yourself. Looking at some fun memes during a break or playing an "office bingo" can brighten up the day and make a difference. For those who do not know, work bingos look somewhat like this:

But they can be tailored to a specific workplace.

So now I want to ask you, do you have any hints you use to include humor in your typical workday?

Sending memes to coworkers whenever there's a particularly ridiculous situation involving customers. I remember a completely unintelligible email that was commented by a meme that said "Godzilla tried to read this and [censored] died". I couldn't stop laughing. 🤣

@Saka oh yes, I agree - memes are everything 😂 Here is one of my favourites 😁 Do you have one that you particularly like?

@Saka Memes can help. And then there is always Pizza Day:

@DoctorEldritch The pizza reminded me about this:

@Saka It's interesting how about a decade ago this role was mostly reserved for ice cream in front of a TV. And while this is a popular option still, pizza is creeping in on the action. I wonder if that means people are becoming more social about their struggles...

@DoctorEldritch Hm, there's a recent change in the culture, that people are slowly learning that talking about feelings and mental health is actually okay. Since pizza can be shared with another person, it could be a way of sharing the struggle.

Or sometimes, it is just having the pizza together in mutual understanding that one doesn't want to talk more about this than "it bloody sucks and feels unfair".

I actually had a pizza like that last week.

@Saka Seems to me it is a good trend, it is healthy to talk the issues out. Good on you to have pizza like that.

I had some myself during my vacation, but I did not eat it to work through any issues. It was just a good pizza. When I want to work through something, I go for a more classic choice and eat chocolate. Actually, I eat it even when there are no issues to work through. @Aaricia and I are similar in that way. 🍫

Speaking of, when you need to go to the office, there is some fun to be had with communal candy, if you have that:

I do not normally condone playing with food, but candy gets a free pass from me.

@DoctorEldritch It's all in the wrappers so no harm is done to it. Additionally, it's easier to pick your favourite this way. 😁
