    Hey!

So the new hand-held from Lenovo - the legion go - is now open for pre orders @ $700 for 512gb and $750 for 1tb with shipping expected to be the 31st October this year.

I haven't seen any unboxings on the device (purposely), just promos and ads, but from what I know this thing is a BEAST.

I have a question for you guys tho. I've been looking up and down for a good laptop I can use to work, travel and game on because mine cant handle it anymore, but there aren't much budget friendly ones around - well in South Africa. (getting it on amazon or out of country is another issue because of shipping, taxes and other fees that need to be paid when it arrives)

Do you guys this this will be good to use as a computer too🤔?The USD price seems good for what we getting and with Black Friday and Cyber Monday coming up monitors will get great discounts. I haven't found an authorized or official price for South Africa but it might be a better than buying a whole laptop.

I'm into programming and using SAP BTP as well as a few other things which are kind of CPU & gpu intensive but finding something under R20 000 (cash or monthly payments) is nearly impossible here.
For example, last I saw the LOQ 15 it was $949 in USA but here in South Africa the base model price is around $1299 at a discounted price. Honestly I'm not even sure if S.Africa will get the device as yet.

What do you guys think about it being used for gaming and possibly work also if its compatible? Will you be pre-ordering it just for gaming?

Let me know you guys thoughts :) - who knows, maybe Lenovo will do a giveaway like they did with the LOQ (Nudge Nudge Wink Wink MEA team)
Local South African gamer and "casual" competitor :)

I think collecting well-used PC parts would be much better and cheaper than a laptop because it will be more powerful, but the problem is transportation. If you move and travel a lot, I advise you to buy a used Lenovo Legion 5 because I think it will be at the price of the Lenovo LOQ 15, or you can wait until Black Friday Day. Compare prices and choose what is best for you
    And for Lenovo Go
I'm waiting because it's amazing and I really hope to get it, it's so amazing
