Before going to sleep, I bring something to comment, maybe, or maybe not, up to you.

What do you thing about what happened with BUGisoft and the ads?

If you are not aware of this, take a look to this next video, which talks about when this started and how comes to the shout in the sky that happened the other day.

Having seeing this (or not) what do you think about it, do you accept ads on your game even if is the same company that made the game? Is a full no-no thing? What would be the limit for this?
Read you in the comments later ;)

    Cheers!

I think it's alright to show ads of some different games or have "cross-over" things like "if you have the game XYZ from the same company, you get this certain skin" to the game you are playing.

I dislike popup ads in premium games; that should not be a thing.

@ChristoffV I might not be the best to talk about that, because I already don't like DLCs, lootboxes and NFTs in games. So seeing this kind of ads in a game that you already paid is just a shame and we're going in the wrong direction.

Now Ubisoft claims it was a "technical error" but I don't think so, because there's clearly someone who worked on that, to have the right interface, with the ads and all ... I just think they tried, they saw gamers didn't like that, they claimed that it was an error (same thing or almost they did with NFTs in Ghost Recon Breakpoint)

@ChristoffV thank you for opening this discussion, I am fine with any way of monetization until this does not affect my gaming experience if you know what I mean!
Of course, anything without ads looks cleaner, but hey, they have to make a profit some how, but I agree with you that it is important to set boundaries!
