    Fanbase: Yasuke is depicted as a samurai but historically he was not a samurai.
    Ubisoft: We acknowledge that this is a matter of debate and discussion.
    Fanbase: Well that's alright then!

    And so forth about each complaint 😅

    @ZaidH To be fair, when you get down to it, Ubisoft is entitled to make the game the way they want, even if it does cause concerns of historical accuracy, among others. and fanbase and Japan are entitled to complain and boycott the game should they so wish if they think it is not up to par. Free market and all...

    It'd be nice if everyone took heed to the historical and cultural nuances of their artworks, but we're not there yet. And maybe it's all a ploy to be provocative: the game got plenty of free publicity out of it indeed, even if not exactly positive. I don't think I'm gonna play it anytime soon, though.
