I've been a big fan of graphics benchmarks for years, I find them relaxing!

And this new benchmark is just gorgeous!

Basemark, the company behind a number of GPUScore-classified benchmarks (including Relic of Life), has just unveiled a new one entitled Breaking Limit. It's a totally multi-platform benchmark, aimed at a whole range of devices: smartphones, tablets, computers... This competitor to 3DMark's Solar Bay supports Windows, Linux, Android and iOS, and can use three graphics APIs: DirectX12, Vulkan 1.3 and Metal 3.

Both Ultra and non-ultra versions of this benchmark require a GPU offering hardware acceleration of ray tracing. Both benchmarks involve ray tracing for shadows, reflections and global illumination. In addition to the native and custom tests, Breaking Limit Ultra offers a third with support for NVIDIA DLSS2 and AMD FSR2 in "Balanced" mode via a specific "Upscaled DLSS/FSR" test. Both companies are now at FSR 3 and DLS 3.x, versions which include Frame Generation technologies that are often very useful at 2160p.

@ramax I wish there was some ambient music to go with this. That would make it more relaxing for me, I think.
