España es un país de variada cultura, gastronomía, arquitectura y tradiciones.
Existe una especial conexión entre la península y Japón, con conocidos estudios japoneses tomando inspiración en nuestro país (un fotógrafo japonés denominó la relación entre España y Japón como "un amor no correspondido" 😅).
Sin embargo, ¿cómo de bien se ha representado en los videojuegos?
Hoy os traigo 5 ejemplos de videojuegos con inspiración española, algunos más acertados que otros 😂
Empezamos con Resident Evil 4 (serebro, serebro, serebro).
Mi pareja lo estuvo jugando cuando salió y al escuchar las voces de fondo, pensaba: "anda, han hecho un Resident Evil ambientado en Latinoamérica". Al tiempo me enteré que la intención de Capcom fue recrear un pueblo del norte de España....Al parecer, al comienzo del desarrollo del juego, ¡hasta tomaron la licencia de usar los uniformes de la Policía Nacional! Una pena que mezclaran el acento asturiano con el mexicano 🤣
Siguiendo con Capcom y su aparente fscinación por España, tenemos al mísmisimo emérito en Ultimate Capcom VS Marvel 3
En este juego de 2011, había un DLC con una skin idéntica al uniforme del Capitán General de los Ejércitos del Rey, tal y como se podía ver en las fotografías oficiales de la web de Casa Real (y los que tenéis edad para recordar, la misma fotografía estaba en muchos colegios públicos de nuestra infancia, ¿no sé si ahora tendrán a Felipe? ¿Algún/a maestr@ en la sala?).
El traje fue sacado de la portada de un cómic de Marvel, en el que Magneto se había convertido en el dirigente de un país (y el artista pensó que el traje de Juan Carlos era genial, tanto así que copió la foto directamente...).
¿No puedes esperar a ver a Vin Diesel en Ark 2? 😂
Pues échale un ojo a su brillante cabeza en Barcelona en el juego de 2009 Wheelman, una especie de GTA de un sólo jugador donde el señor Diesel hace trabajitos de dudosa moralidad como conductor:
Aunque n 2009 los motores gráficos no daban para levantar el mapa de manera fidedigna, en el juego se aprecian sitios míticos de la ciudad Condal como la Sagrada Familia o Las Ramblas.
Tendría que escribir un hilo específico para hablar de España en los videojuegos de lucha, empezando por el guapo (y psicópata) Vega, pasando por Miguel Caballero Rojo o Cervantes y terminando con el engendro que fue "Don Flamenco".
Sin embargo, en esta ocasión debo mencionar uno de los escenarios secretos (sólo aparece en modo aleatorio en la selección de escenario) de Tekken 6, que nos muestra Buñol y su Tomatina.
¿Es mi mente enferma o la gente del fondo parecen zombies en un mar de sangre? ¿Me habrán afectado las frases de Resident Evil 4? 🤣
¡Y dejo el mejor para el final!
¿Sabíais que Cloud y Tifa también fueron turistas en la Costa del Sol? (al menos en 1997 no estaba tan masificada).
La "Costa del Sol" es una ciudad costera situada al este del continente occidental en Final Fantasy VII. También es el puerto principal del continente. Costa del Sol también ha aparecido en Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII y Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. El nombre del lugar es «Costa del Sol» en español, y si, está directamente inspirada en la costa Occidental de mi Málaga querida.

Como bonus, os presento a Samba de amigo, toda una serie de videojuegos de ritmo Sega, en el que Brasil es un país musical, lleno de estereotipos e interpretaciones locas, cómo sólo puede hacerlo Japón cuando representa otras culturas 😅

Pues la saga de Assasins Creed tiene varios ejemplos, uno de los más notables incluye la Alhambra de Granada en 3 juegos: Assassin's Creed II: Discovery (cuando aparece por primera vez) Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood y Assassin's Creed: Rebellion – Kinslayer
Aunque ese título de tu feed tiene un poco de clickbait, porque no es un Assassin´s Creed de verdad, si no uno inspirado en la serie 😅
Por otra parte, tus islas también se ven representadas en el juego de motos Ride 3, en concreto Tenerife:
Desgraciadamente, nunca estuve en esta isla (en la lista está, probablemente caiga en invierno!!), pero he leído que han hecho un buen trabajo con la recreación. ¿Tú qué opinas?
¡¡Y no sabía lo de Pokémon Escarlata y Violeta!! Pero me han encantado Smoliv y Lechonk...y los innumerables memes, claro está 🤣
Blasphemous. Juego español muy bueno. Crudo, ambientado fuertemente en la semana santa, con mucho gore eso si. Pero fantasticamente integrado
Inicialmente no estaba doblado al castellano por temas presupuestarios logicamente, pero ahora si, y disfrutar su segunda parte tambien.
Si os gustan los metroidvania, los retos, el arte y esta fantástica ambientación, deberíais probarlo.
Otros temas a destacar es como distintos esculturas y arte arquitectonico de Elden Ring también esta sacado de España.
Lógicamente habra mil y un juegos ambientados en escritura de cervantes, conquistas de america, flamenco, toreros y otros claro.
Y tambien diria que fue gracioso ver cierto juego de esos de pasillos interminables y encontra la salida ambientado en un sitio lleno de piscinas y toboganes... pero me sorprendio bastante que tuviera para elegir el andalú entre sus idiomas oficiales, pocas risas nos pegamos leyendo las opciones y tal en el idioma... porque claro, luego el juego no es que tuviera nada de texto o dialogos in game... pero fue un muy curioso detalle XD.
El conocimiento es poder, úsalo bien, pues su mal uso conlleva a la destrucción.

Bueno...es un país con mucha historia, cultura y arte que no tiene nada que envidiar a cualquier otro país Europeo (me gustaría mirar juegos con inspiración Latinoamericana también! imagino que habrá inmensos estereotipos, aunque seguro que también alguna que otra joyita), lo que pasa es que no nos vendemos tan bien como en otros sitios (y hay cierto complejo de inferioridad como nación, pero esa es otra historia que deberá ser contada en otra ocasión! 😂)
Nah, es broma, para vivir prefiero mil veces Gran Canaria a Tenerife, pero para ir de vacaciones está muy bien, tienes campo, zona volcánica, playas de arena de grano gordo (es una puya entre islas criticando las playas de piedras 😝), playas arena normal y... el Teide, por supuesto, que tiene una sombra miy alargada...
Y ya sabes, "quién a buen árbol se arrima, buena sombra le cobija"

Legion Community enables its registered users (the “Users") to post and share content, such as information about Lenovo products, services, events, social media activity and videos ("Content”) to the Platform.
Legion Community is provided by Lenovo through the services of Standing on Giants subject to these Terms (“Terms”). We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time and without notice. If we amend the Terms, we will post the amended Terms on this page gaming.lenovo.com/emea/register/ and indicate at the top of the page the date the Terms were last revised. Your continued use of the Platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

Your Use of Legion Community Platform
ELIGIBILITY. This Program is open to Participants who are age 18 years or older at the time of entry. Participants are not entitled to any surplus between actual retail value (ARV) of a reward and stated ARV and any difference between stated ARV and actual value of the reward will not be awarded. No title or ownership rights in the Content or any intellectual property rights therein are transferred to you under these Terms. Your Content Posted or Linked to Legion Community
Lenovo allows you to submit posts or link content to Legion Community, including photos, images, videos, sounds, comments, links, tweets, likes, and other materials. A Legion Community moderator may moderate posts after publication. Lenovo reserves the right to remove user’s content that it considers to be irrelevant to the purpose of the platform, or that it considers violates any of these Terms. Lenovo may also post or link to the Platform any of your Content that you make available to Lenovo for the Platform. You are solely responsible for your Content that is posted or linked to the Platform and Lenovo accepts no liability for your Content.
You grant Lenovo and other users of the Platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, create derivative works of, perform, publish, re-post, re-tweet, and distribute your Content on or in connection with the Platform.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary in your Content for it to be on or available from the Platform, and that the posting and use of your Content on or through the Platform does not violate, misappropriate or infringe on the rights of any third party, including, without limitation, privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, trademark and/or other intellectual property rights. You agree that Lenovo is only acting as a passive conduit for your online distribution and publication of your Content. Lenovo does not have any obligation to review your Content, and therefore does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or quality of all user Content and we cannot assure you that harmful, inaccurate, deceptive, offensive, threatening, defamatory, unlawful, or otherwise objectionable Content will not appear on the Platform. Please note that you may unsubscribe to general marketing emails at any time using the link provided in the emails. You understand that your data may be shared with other Lenovo entities and trusted third parties with a contractual relationship with Lenovo solely in connection with Legion Community

Representations and Warranties
You represent and warrant that:
(a) You will abide by and comply with these Terms;

Compliance
When using Legion Community, you will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and all terms of use and similar rules concerning your use of any Social Media Outlet or other third party publishing platform.
Upon our request made to you from time to time, you will cooperate with us and allow us access to your systems, communications, and records solely in connection with determining your compliance with these Terms.
Visiting Third Party Websites
The Platform may contain links to third party websites, advertisers, products, services, offers, or other events or activities that are not owned or controlled by Lenovo. Lenovo does not assume any responsibility for any such third party sites, information, materials, products, services or offers. If you access any third party website, product, service, or content from the Platform, you do so at your own risk and you agree that Lenovo will have no liability arising from your use of or access to any third party website, product, service, or content.
Trademarks and Ownership of Intellectual Property
Lenovo™, the Lenovo logo, and certain other product names and phrases are trademarks or service marks of Lenovo in the U.S. and/or other countries. Termination
You may terminate use of the Platform at any time for any reason (in other words, un-register). Lenovo may terminate or suspend your right to use the Platform at any time, with or without cause or notice to you. Lenovo may terminate the Platform at any time without notice. Upon termination, all licenses and other rights granted to you in these Terms will immediately cease. Following termination, Lenovo may retain your Content as permitted by applicable law for backup, archival, or audit purposes. Furthermore, Lenovo and its other users may retain and continue to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, create derivative works of, perform, and distribute any of your Content that other users have stored or shared through the Platform.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Lenovo and its employees, officers, affiliates and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation, reasonable attorney's fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with any of the following: (i) Your Content or your misuse of the Platform; (ii) your breach or alleged breach of these Terms; (iii) your violation of any third party right, including without limitation, any intellectual property right, publicity, confidentiality, property or privacy right; (iv) your violation of any laws, rules, regulations, codes, statutes, ordinances or orders of any governmental authorities, including, without limitation, all regulatory, administrative and legislative authorities; or (v) any misrepresentation made by you. You will cooperate as reasonably requested by Lenovo with respect to any such claim. Lenovo reserves the right to assume control of the defence or settlement of any such claim, and you will not in any event settle any such claim without the prior written consent of Lenovo.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain.
Entire Agreement; Severability
These Terms, together with Lenovo’s Data Privacy Policy and any amendments and any additional agreements you may enter into with Lenovo in connection with the Platform, shall constitute the entire agreement between you and Lenovo concerning the Platform. If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, then that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.
Limitations of Liability
Neither Lenovo nor its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, third party content providers, sponsors, or licensors warrant that the Site will be continuous, uninterrupted or error-free. THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ITS CONTENT, IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, LENOVO HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ANY WARRANTIES BASED ON A COURSE OF DEALING.
