Hello Legion Gamers!

Last Friday (02/08/2024) THQ Nordic Digital presented the Showcase 2024 where they showed some games and shared some news. For those of you who missed it, here is the recording:

And here is a small summary of interesting things if you want just the bullet points:

  • Bugbear Entertainment announced the game Wreckfest 2, the spiritual successor of FlatOut.
  • Space for Sale made it to Steam's Early Access. What they did not say at the Showcase is that it so far got mixed reviews with only 58% of those who tried it recommending to buy. Hopefully, Early Access works out for them and they can make it better.
  • Although the release date for Titan Quest 2 was not announced, they showed us a new gameplay trailer.
  • The new more detailed trailer for Gothic 1 Remake was shown.
  • The new game from the authors of This Is the Police was announced, it will be the game The Eternal Life of Goldman. This game was particularly praised for its art style ( @Saka you may wish to take a look).
  • Ending the showcase, there were a couple of teasers. The first one was about Darksiders and the possible new game in the series. Wonder who will be the next Horsemen of the Apocalypse protagonist?
  • And finally, Tarsier (developers of the first Little Nightmares) teased their next game with the help of a giant mutilated pig. Not long to wait now, they will reveal more in just 2 weeks on the 20th of August during gamescom 2024.

So a few interesting bits. Personally, I am most interested in The Eternal Life of Goldman because of its art style, but the new Darksiders game is good news too, it's been too long and the story does need its conclusion.

Did you see anything that got you excited?
