Hello Legion Gamers!

A bit of a new game shoutout: Closer the Distance is out. It is from Osmotic, the creators of the Orwell game.

The game took the art style from Orwell, but when Orwell is an insight into the intricate complexities of global surveillance, Closer the Distance is much more personal and focused on managing and dealing with grief.

Quite an unusual game, some describe it as a mix of Life is Strange and The Sims ( @Saka this may be of interest) and received positive and detailed reviews already.

You need to deal with the loss of one member in a small community. Depending on your decisions, the story may play out differently. But most of all it makes you (or at least tries to) make you reflect. It is a bit like Spiritfarer in that sense.

There are not that many games like that around, so it may be worth a look if or when you need a game that aims to touch deeper cords.
