After the significant controversy surrounding Concord due to its low quality, the company has officially announced the game's rapid shutdown less than a month after its release, along with a full refund for players as soon as it is taken offline.

In a blog post on PlayStation, Ryan Ellis, Director of Firewalk Studios, stated that the game did not meet their expectations. The game servers will be shut down on September 6, and players will receive a full refund, whether they played on PS5 or PC.

There is still no news on whether the game will return to the store or not, but with the servers being shut down so quickly, Sony might consider other options such as releasing it for free or making extensive modifications since the game will require a lot of work.

    Details for Refunds for Concord:
Steam Store: You will receive a confirmation message once the refund is processed.
Epic Games Store: Epic Games Store will contact you directly to confirm the refund processing.
Physical Stores: Contact the retailer where you purchased the game for details on the refund process.

Important Tips: Keep your purchase confirmations; they will help if you need to contact the retailer for your refund. If you encounter any issues with the refund process, reach out to customer support for assistance.

It's unfortunate that the game was in development for nearly 8 years, and its failure was evident from the initial gameplay previews, but things deteriorated faster than we expected.

Do you think Concord will make a comeback ?
