En plena cúspide de la era digital, el mayor miedo al que se enfrentan las empresas hoy en día son las filtraciones y, sobre todo, los hackeos con robo de información.
La protagonista del último incidente ha sido Game Freak, el pasado día 10 han confirmado haber sufrido un grave in incidente en el que aún no se conoce el alcance real. Se habla de que podrían haberse hecho con él código fuente de algunos juegos de Pokemon de la descatalogada Nintendo DS, contenido del desarrollo del futuro Pokemon de la sucesora de la Switch, el propio nombre en clave de dicha sucesora sería 'Ounce' y, quizás lo más grave, datos y contratos de empleados y exempleados de la compañía.
Ya se irá viendo el verdadero alcance de todo esto, pero está claro que al mes del terror se les está atragantando en las oficinas de Game Freak.

Bromas a parte, lo de los datos personales de los empleados es gravísimo, tengo información de primera mano de una empresa de videojuegos que tuvo un hackeo reciente implicando a los empleados y la empresa lo único que hizo fue "pedir disculpas". Creo que en este caso pasará lo mismo... 😭

Lo primero, el directivo que ha dado la información, imagino que estará de patitas en la calle y que tendrá que buscar otra profesión (o no, pero vaya pena que te toque algo así...!)...¿Habrá sido un empleado de Pocketpair l que le hizo phising? 😝
¡Lo de la película para un público más adulto me ha parecido bastante interesante...! ¿Crees que la sacarán al final? Me pregunto si es de anime o si será como la de detective Pikachu (ahí ya se vió un poco esta dirección de apelar a la nostalgia de los que nos criamos con la serie/juegos).

Sera una señal de protesta por los movimientos recientes de Nintendo contra comunidad, proyectos sin animo de lucro, Palworld y otros?. Recordemos que Sony también fue objetivo de problemas parecidos al empezar a cortar alas a terceros.
Hace no tanto también hubo filtración en una empresa española de datos "poco sensibles" como dni, nombre, dirección, tlf... XD. Asi que ahora el spam telefónico aquí será aun mas grave.
El video original puede que haya sido demandado por Nintendo para que lo quiten conociendo como actúan XD.
La palabra MMO es muy grande... pero siendo Nintendo puede ser igual a simplemente un mundo abierto donde te topes con otras personas y ya, sin apenas interacción mas allá de un sitio donde hacer duelos, que de MMO tendrá básicamente coincidir fuera pero tal vez ni luchas, chatear, interactuar ni nada :P. No me imagino ahora a Nintendo lidiando con chats donde tengan que censurar, controlar, evitar compraventas, comercio, etc XD. Supongo que habrán visto el éxito de cierto juego de mundo abierto donde puedes construir, cazar, charlar con otros y visto que pueden sacar dinero... XD.
Sinceramente, prefiero no ver videos de estos temas, no soy su consumidor y si sacan algo de improviso, mejor, que harto estoy de las noticias de mil filtraciones vacías de Switch 2.
Pero bueno, esto es lo típico, ponen mucha seguridad pero apenas entra por algún lado tienen el campo abierto cuando luego un simple usuario de a pie para cualquier cosa te piden verificación en 2 pasos a cada pasito que das XD. Y en corporaciones grandes deberían tener eso sumado a avisos extras en la empresa y el propietario por si hubiera varias peticiones seguidas en un corto periodo de tiempo para que asi, si de pronto en un solo día hay 3 peticiones de datos sensibles se corte el acceso fácilmente sin afectar al resto.
El conocimiento es poder, úsalo bien, pues su mal uso conlleva a la destrucción.

@YeiCovYa se dice en Marketing que nada se crea, todo se copia... pienso que sirve para los videojuegos, películas y demás. La línea entre creatividad, inspiración y plagio es muy tenue.
Un Nintendo World Maker 3D. Parecido a los Mario Maker pero en entorno 3D, al cual le fueran añadiendo tematicas de otros juegos como Pokemon, Zelda, Metroid, Kirby, Donkey Kong...
Te lo compraria, facil de realizar, facilmente muy monetizable, puedes prescindir de chat y otros componentes sociales, etc. Un sandbox a base de casillas cuadradas ambientadas en los juegos mas iconicos y retro pudiendo añadirle casillas especiales para mas jugabilidad.
Seguramente seria mucho mas interactivo que Minecraft (basta ver las casillas interactuables de Mario) pero estaria menos enfocado a la supervivencia y farmeo pero eso seria algo facilmente implementable... y que si le unen Pokemon y otras "invocaciones" como en Smash Bros daria un resultado la mar de molon que haria vender muchos Amiibo.
Solo por el hecho de poder reconstruir niveles de juegos clásicos y hacer construcciones imaginativas en la portátil seria un superventas.
El conocimiento es poder, úsalo bien, pues su mal uso conlleva a la destrucción.

Si, como decía Yeicov en el título dle hilo, para game freak esto estará siendo terrorífico. Pero por lo que circula por internet, parece que no ha sido una brecha en la seguridad de la empresa en si, si no que han engañado a un alto ejecutivo para que le pase esa info al hacker de turno...¿será como dices promovido por las ampollas creadas por la controladora Nintendo? Está interesante especular eso, daría para una peli, pero sinceramente, creo que quien lo haya hecho ha sido por una buena suma (¿y quién habrá pagado de su Pocket paira ello? 😝).
PD, lo de la Switch2 está creando tantas expectativas que van a tener que sacar una consola que te limpe la casa para que sorprenda XD

Legion Community enables its registered users (the “Users") to post and share content, such as information about Lenovo products, services, events, social media activity and videos ("Content”) to the Platform.
Legion Community is provided by Lenovo through the services of Standing on Giants subject to these Terms (“Terms”). We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time and without notice. If we amend the Terms, we will post the amended Terms on this page gaming.lenovo.com/emea/register/ and indicate at the top of the page the date the Terms were last revised. Your continued use of the Platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
By accessing or using Legion Community you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, then you should not access or use the Platform.
Lenovo’s decision in relation to any aspect of Legion Community and these Terms is final and binding.
Your Use of Legion Community Platform
ELIGIBILITY. This Program is open to Participants who are age 18 years or older at the time of entry. REWARDS. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, and once confirmed by [Client], Participants will be able to accrue “points” that can be redeemed for reward(s). Rewards will be featured at various price points and in limited quantities.
The approximate retail values of rewards are subject to change based on current market conditions at the time of reward redemption. Participants are not entitled to any surplus between actual retail value (ARV) of a reward and stated ARV and any difference between stated ARV and actual value of the reward will not be awarded. No substitution, assignment, transfer, or cash redemption of any reward is allowed. Lenovo reserves the right to substitute a reward with another reward of equal or greater value should the advertised reward become unavailable for any reason. Your use of the information and Content available on the Platform is subject to the following restrictions:
You must not modify or remove any and all copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices contained in the Content.
You must not modify the Content in any way or reproduce or publicly display, perform, or distribute or otherwise use the Content for any commercial purpose.
No title or ownership rights in the Content or any intellectual property rights therein are transferred to you under these Terms. You may never use another user's account without the permission of that user. You agree not to use any portion of the Platform as a destination linked from any unsolicited bulk messages or unsolicited commercial messages.
Your Content Posted or Linked to Legion Community
Lenovo allows you to submit posts or link content to Legion Community, including photos, images, videos, sounds, comments, links, tweets, likes, and other materials. A Legion Community moderator may moderate posts after publication. Lenovo reserves the right to remove user’s content that it considers to be irrelevant to the purpose of the platform, or that it considers violates any of these Terms. Lenovo may also post or link to the Platform any of your Content that you make available to Lenovo for the Platform. You are solely responsible for your Content that is posted or linked to the Platform and Lenovo accepts no liability for your Content.
You grant Lenovo and other users of the Platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, create derivative works of, perform, publish, re-post, re-tweet, and distribute your Content on or in connection with the Platform.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary in your Content for it to be on or available from the Platform, and that the posting and use of your Content on or through the Platform does not violate, misappropriate or infringe on the rights of any third party, including, without limitation, privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, trademark and/or other intellectual property rights. You further represent and warrant to the extent there are links on the Platform to your Content that is hosted on third party websites, such linking is permitted by the terms of service of any such third party websites. You agree that Lenovo is only acting as a passive conduit for your online distribution and publication of your Content. Lenovo does not have any obligation to review your Content, and therefore does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or quality of all user Content and we cannot assure you that harmful, inaccurate, deceptive, offensive, threatening, defamatory, unlawful, or otherwise objectionable Content will not appear on the Platform. Lenovo is not responsible for any public display or misuse of your Content. You accept that Lenovo will not enter into any correspondence regarding the awarding of points or rewards and Lenovo is entitled to grant or revoke rewards at their discretion. Data Privacy and Security
Lenovo will communicate with you via email or push notifications (including via the Standing on Giants platform), about Legion Community related notices changes to features of Legion Community and any notices required by law, in lieu of communication by postal mail.. If required by law, we will ask you for consent before sending you marketing emails. Please note that you may unsubscribe to general marketing emails at any time using the link provided in the emails. You understand that your data may be shared with other Lenovo entities and trusted third parties with a contractual relationship with Lenovo solely in connection with Legion Community

Representations and Warranties
You represent and warrant that:
(a) You will abide by and comply with these Terms;
(b) Your Content and Lenovo’s use thereof as contemplated by these Terms and the Platform will not infringe any rights of any third party, including but not limited to any intellectual property rights, privacy rights, and rights of publicity;
(c) You have the full power and authority to enter into these Terms and to the extent that any entity is bound hereby, to bind such entity, these Terms, and performance of obligations under these Terms do not and will not violate any other agreement to which you or such entity is a party; and
(d) You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to those set forth in these Terms.
Compliance
When using Legion Community, you will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and all terms of use and similar rules concerning your use of any Social Media Outlet or other third party publishing platform.
Upon our request made to you from time to time, you will cooperate with us and allow us access to your systems, communications, and records solely in connection with determining your compliance with these Terms.
Visiting Third Party Websites
The Platform may contain links to third party websites, advertisers, products, services, offers, or other events or activities that are not owned or controlled by Lenovo. Lenovo does not assume any responsibility for any such third party sites, information, materials, products, services or offers. If you access any third party website, product, service, or content from the Platform, you do so at your own risk and you agree that Lenovo will have no liability arising from your use of or access to any third party website, product, service, or content.
Trademarks and Ownership of Intellectual Property
Lenovo™, the Lenovo logo, and certain other product names and phrases are trademarks or service marks of Lenovo in the U.S. and/or other countries. The absence of a trademark or service mark designation next to a product or service name or logo belonging to Lenovo anywhere on the Platform does not constitute a waiver of Lenovo’s trademark or other intellectual property rights concerning that name or logo used or referenced on the Platform.
The Platform contains content owned or licensed by Lenovo ("Lenovo Content"). Lenovo Content is protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret and other laws, and, as between you and Lenovo, Lenovo owns and retains all copyright, trademark, trade secret, patent and other intellectual property rights in and to Lenovo Content and the Platform (the “Intellectual Property”). Lenovo reserves all rights in the Lenovo Content and Intellectual Property not expressly granted in these Terms. Termination
You may terminate use of the Platform at any time for any reason (in other words, un-register). Lenovo may terminate or suspend your right to use the Platform at any time, with or without cause or notice to you. Lenovo may terminate the Platform at any time without notice. Upon termination, all licenses and other rights granted to you in these Terms will immediately cease. Following termination, Lenovo may retain your Content as permitted by applicable law for backup, archival, or audit purposes. Furthermore, Lenovo and its other users may retain and continue to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, create derivative works of, perform, and distribute any of your Content that other users have stored or shared through the Platform.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Lenovo and its employees, officers, affiliates and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation, reasonable attorney's fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with any of the following: (i) Your Content or your misuse of the Platform; (ii) your breach or alleged breach of these Terms; (iii) your violation of any third party right, including without limitation, any intellectual property right, publicity, confidentiality, property or privacy right; (iv) your violation of any laws, rules, regulations, codes, statutes, ordinances or orders of any governmental authorities, including, without limitation, all regulatory, administrative and legislative authorities; or (v) any misrepresentation made by you. You will cooperate as reasonably requested by Lenovo with respect to any such claim. Lenovo reserves the right to assume control of the defence or settlement of any such claim, and you will not in any event settle any such claim without the prior written consent of Lenovo.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain.
Entire Agreement; Severability
These Terms, together with Lenovo’s Data Privacy Policy and any amendments and any additional agreements you may enter into with Lenovo in connection with the Platform, shall constitute the entire agreement between you and Lenovo concerning the Platform. If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, then that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.
Limitations of Liability
Neither Lenovo nor its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, third party content providers, sponsors, or licensors warrant that the Site will be continuous, uninterrupted or error-free. THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ITS CONTENT, IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, LENOVO HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ANY WARRANTIES BASED ON A COURSE OF DEALING.
