@DracoTarot That is a low number, but high enough to be a challenge to fill for some... But the fact that you need permission for a party is a surprise. I mean, it is only neighbourly and polite to ask permission from neighbours, I'd do that even if it was not a requirement, but why does the metro need to know?

Sound curfew makes sense, though, in my neighbourhood it is illegal to do something loud after 23:00, it is even in the contract. To make sure everyone can get a good night's sleep, more so as we have a "retiree community" next to us, and they probably need a bit more looking after than your average neighbours.

No need to rush with Douglas is Cancelled, it is entertaining enough (I especially liked the jazz pieces they have during ending titles), but not so important as to prioritise it over something else you may want to watch.

@DoctorEldritch Everything is an issue here and people complain a lot. There are "KARENS" everywhere, especially in my neighbourhood.

I do understand if a party may get too loud then you have the fullest right to complain but in certain cases, they do not want other people to have a little fun because no one is interested in them and they lead an awful and boring life. It seems they get jealous when seeing other people being happy.

@DracoTarot C'est la vie. But hey, at least you get an occasional owl guest, so it can't be all that bad.

Sorry to hear that. One would hope issues would bring people together, not divide them so...
