just a week ago, it was leaked that a new Death Note Game is in the work. Today, the trailer for Death Note Killer Within dropped 🤩.

The game is an Among Us-esque social deduction game set to launch on November 5 for PlayStation 4 and 5 and PC. With subscribers to the PlayStation Plus will get it for free. The game pits up to 10 players against each other, with teams trying to work out who is Kira, who is L and who possesses the Death Note. The art style and graphics are a standout, drawing from the little figures used by Near towards the end of the anime and manga to give such a distinctive look to the game which feels somehow cute but eerie at the same time.

It reminds me a lot of Death Note: Kira Game, released on the Nintendo DS in 2007, one of the very early attempts at social deduction long before Among Us popularized the genre. Even though it had many innovative ideas, it fell short in execution and it was never released outside of Japan or Nintendo DS. But now, it's time for the true Death Note Game experience

i liked the idea, so it's basically among us with death note characters😅
I suppose in the end, the whole of life becomes an act of letting go, but what always hurts the most is not taking a moment to say goodbye

@UnapologeticDino yep, it is exciting. Especially that I'm a fan of Death Note.
I'm more interested with the gameplay. It's Death Note and all but it's a game in first place. I'm intrested in the ways the game will set itself apart from similar games. I've seen some unique gameplay elements in the trailer and looking forward to discover more when i play the game.
