SEGA will remove some games from sale!

    Hello Legion Gamers!

    This is not a promotion per se, but more of a notice that Sega is planning to remove some of their classic games from Steam on the 6th of December. So if you wanted to grab one of them, there is only a month left to do it.

    Here is a list of all games that will be removed from Steam

    Though this may not be as drastic as all that, some gamers suggested that Sega may be preparing to release compilations of their classic games later on and this is the reason behind this decision. Still, it did fuel some discussion about the importance of the physical media.

    And Golden Axe may get a bit of a renaissance when the animated series that Comedy Central is working on comes out, which is another reason to remove it and make a compilation when that happens. Gotta strike the iron while it's hot!

    It's very sad, and now I see that they're all DLCs of the "SEGA Mega Drive & Genesis Classics" on Steam and I also see that I have games that have already been delisted, like the 3 first the Sonic games THIS is terrible news. And yes the physical is very important for gamers, and unless we have stores like GoG with DRM-less games, that we can download and burn them or store on a NAS and or Cloud drive, we will lose a lot of games unfortunately
