    Hello Legion Gamers!

Steam is having another fest, this time (11-18 November) with a cooking theme. They say it has "titles that will fill your belly" Check it out!

Cooking games always left a weird taste in my mouth (dad pun intended 😉) because you can never actually eat what you cook. But I can enjoy them when they teach new recipes (especially authentic ones) or use cooking as a narrative component like, for example, Venba does. But those where you need to time manage and rush to "make X burgers in Y amount of time" I do not like at all. Anyway, here is a sample of discount offers:

Nothing tempting for me. I already played Venba (and can recommend it for narrative ideas and art, short though this game is), and there is not much else. I guess I am just not hungry this time around 😉

What about you, see anything to "fill your belly"?

@DoctorEldritch I never knew so many cooking games existed. Such a simple concept also the different store simulators.

@ChristianRasmussen Simulators in general are a curious genre for me: some are clear enough, like farming or PC building or what have you, but something like being a goat or a bee is odd.

It could bethat there are so many cooking ones around because cooking is something that many people around the world do or did at one point or another (and eating is something that everyone needs to do), so it is a clear and relatable concept (unlike farming or fishing that only a fraction of people do). So cooking simulator is a safer bet target audience-wise, maybe?
