Hello Legion Gamers!

Yesterday, we posted about the art in the Neva game, and today it is time for the sound effects in the upcoming Pathologic 3! Sadly, unlike @CandelaSynth with Conrad Roset from Nomada Studio, we do not have an exclusive interview from anyone from Ice-Pick Lodge, but they recently released a Devlog focusing on the sounds and atmosphere of their upcoming day. Check it out if you do not mind some Russian accents 😉

Personally, Ice-Pick Lodge is one of my favourite studios and their first Pathologic game is among my favourite games of all time, something I mentioned before. So I follow their progress closely. The Pathologic series always had a unique grim atmosphere, and it is interesting to see how music and sounds are designed to help build the ambience.

And they even recorded some sounds on the streets of Buenos Aires! @j7schultz, that is not Brazil, but maybe close to it vibe-wise? I wonder if Rio de Janeiro sounds different than Buenos Aires...

So this is a little glimpse behind the development curtain at the process of making game sound effects. And in December they promised to come back with an announcement, maybe we'll get more details about the upcoming game then!
