I think it can be very, very cool, but only if it's done right. I think if some game were to come out right now with AI-driven NPCs it would be absolutely trash. But in like 5 years, given that it's actually immersive, I can see this becoming a positive thing.

I personally think that AI driven NPC's are a game changer. It takes unpredictablity up a notch. We are achieving true real and open world games. My experience with Cyberpunk 2077 was absolute 💙💙💙💙, but a little bit tweaking could've made the game so fricking good.
