    Hello Legion community,

Remember the days when gaming was just a hobby we practiced in our rooms? Today, it's a global phenomenon, and right in the heart of our region, we're witnessing an incredible rise in esports.

It's no longer just a pastime; it's a career path, a dream for many. We now see major tournaments like the Esports World Cup attracting the world's attention and proving that we have the talent to compete at the highest levels.

This growth is not only due to talented players, but also to the strength of the supportive community. Platforms like the Legion community bring us together, allowing us to share experiences, form teams, and stay up-to-date on the latest news on powerful gear that helps us achieve victory, like Lenovo Legion devices.

I believe we're only at the beginning of the road. The future holds more opportunities and more champions who will raise our region's profile on the global stage.

My question for all of you to discuss: In your opinion, what is the biggest opportunity or challenge facing esports in our region right now? What game would you like to see featured in the next major tournament?

I'm excited to read your thoughts!

😊👇I will talk about it from my own prespective in Egypt's Esports Scene🎮
The esports scene in Egypt is buzzing with potential, but it’s a bit of a double-edged sword:

    • 🚀 Opportunity: Egypt has a massive youth population—over 40 million gamers—and a growing appetite for competitive gaming. Events like Insomnia Egypt and Gamergy Egypt have shown that local interest is strong, and organizations like RA'AD and Team Myth are gaining global recognition. With support from the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Egyptian Federation for Electronic Sports, there's a real chance to build a thriving ecosystem.
    • ⚠️ Challenge: Infrastructure is still lagging. Limited access to high-speed internet, expensive gaming hardware, and lack of localized servers make it tough for Egyptian players to compete internationally on equal footing. Plus, digital payment barriers and regulatory uncertainty can slow down growth.

🔥 Game to Feature in the Next Major Tournament
If I could pick, I’d love to see Clash Royale take center stage. It’s already Egypt’s top-earning esports title, with nearly $1 million in prize money won by local players. It’s mobile-friendly, fast-paced, and wildly popular—perfect for engaging both casual fans and hardcore competitors.
    Other strong contenders:

    • CrossFire – Egypt’s second-highest earner, with a solid competitive base
    • VALORANT – Rapidly growing in popularity, especially among younger players
    • Mobile Legends: Bang Bang – Accessible and team-based, ideal for regional tournaments

You're absolutely right! We're truly living through a major shift in the gaming scene in our region. With every tournament, we see talented players who deserve support, real opportunities, and a shot at reaching the global stage. In my opinion, the biggest challenge many people face is the lack of resources internet isn’t always stable, devices are expensive, and professional opportunities are still limited for a lot of players.
On the other hand, the biggest opportunity lies in the passion of the new generation. The enthusiasm and drive to improve are clearer than ever, and if they get the right support, I’m sure we’ll see champions raising our region’s name in the biggest arenas.
As for the game I’d love to see in a major tournament Marvel Rivals It’s an awesome game with characters we all love.

@JokerZida You gotta be careful. The amount of people that are actually going to make it is going to always be very slim. Plus you dont just get to make living wage from this, you better be making retirement money, because once your career is over you are left with a 10years skill gap. Any career in entertainment is by design relying on popularity therefore there needs to be thousands viewers for each 1 success story.
