Llevamos un par de años hablando de Inteligencia Artificial en todas sus variantes, pero no hemos indagado tanto en sobre IA y PC gaming de manera específica, así que ahí va nuestra pregunta: Cuando oyes "PC con IA", ¿piensas en PC gaming? 🤔
Después de votar, nos gustaría pediros que nos comentéis en una sola frase:
¿Qué es lo primero que te viene a la mente cuando oyes "PC con IA"?

Aplicada a cuestiones de automatizacion ajustes / rendimiento y a cuestiones de inmersión (variabilidad de texturas / modelados, comportamiento y conversaciones con NPCs, etc)
Realmente la frase "IA en PC" no la he oído como tal, pero me traería a la mente todo los relacionado con gestión de aplicaciones, software en general y todo lo que ocurre dentro del PC, incluido juegos, pero no algo exclusivo para juegos.
Si hablamos de IA en juegos, entonces para mí está vinculado a comportamiento de NPCs para que tengan más inteligencia y sean más "humanos". E incluso para creación de mapas cuando son procedurales, aprendiendo de lo que más juegue el usuario.
Tienes razón, no suena muy natural (será que he hecho una traducción literal del inglés...lo que tiene pensar en Spanglish!! XD). Así que he cambiado la pregunta por: "PC con IA".
De los NPC con IA ya hemos hablado en alguna ocasión, de hecho, estaba ese proyecto de una empresa con una demo inspirada en Matrix, pero cerraron el proyecto porque resultaba muy caro ejecutarlo (usaba a ChatGPT de base!). Lo de los mapas procedurales que aprendan de la forma de jugar de cada un@ es super interesante...me pregunto quién lo aplicará primero? Yo sigo esperando Light No Fire con muchas ganas...a lo mejor ya están trabajando en ello? 🤔
Pues, así de primeras un "PC con IA" entendería que tiene algún soporte o ayudas extra basadas en una (similar a Cortana), ya sea para preguntas de cualquier tipo, por voz o escrito. También pienso en herramientas que sirvan para ayudar a maximizar el rendimiento del PC en sus tareas, subiéndole la velocidad a los ventiladores, haciendo underclocking u overclocking a los componentes, etc., sin necesitar una configuración externa de algún programa o retoques manuales del usuario.
He pensado también en un PC diseñado y montado completamente por una IA, pero eso a día de hoy lo veo un poquillo difícil todavía 😅.
Actualmente al decirme IA y PC no me hace pensar en gaming, Copilot gaming no me es util actualmente sin funcionar en segundo plano. Y el uso de IA en juego es mas a nivel de desarrollo que en uso local asi que no lo asocio con PC como tal. Para futuros PCs tal vez si empiecen a implementar el uso de IA local de manera mas estandarizada y no solo para DLSS y casos aislados.
Si me dice para desarrollo si que lo asocio bastante a multiples niveles.
Luego si me dicen graficas y precios... si que pienso en IA y pcs gaming por que por ello están sus altos precios XD.

Cierto es que ya casi todo sistema operativo moderno incluye una IA integrada (como copilot en Windows 11), pero personalmente, veo más interesante la automatización del rendimiento con un mínimo de intervención del ususario (manteniendo la configuración manual en caso de que se quieran hacer ajustes, claor está).
PD, Jajajja. Eso del PC diseñado y montado por una IA es casi casi que el equivalente de reproducirse para un ser inorgánico 😂

Si te sirve algo de info. Bueno, Copilot Gaming es una especie de "Cortana". Como anecdota Windows 10 antes del boom de la IA tuvo un asistente llamado asi: Usar Cortana en Windows - Soporte técnico de Microsoft. Actualmente pues se esta integrando Copilot a nivel de sistema y en fase de pruebas tendras el "EY Copilot"
Diversos dispositivos Lenovo tienen ajustes de rendimiento por IA, cambiando el modo de rendimiento y otros, no lo veo lo suficientemente transparente la verdad... pero en el caso de portatiles por ejemplo creo que cambiar la velocidad de procesador y grafica, ventiladores y tambien elije si un programa debe usar la grafica integrada o la dedicada.
Todo ello supongo que tendra mucho mas sentido cuando lo usemos sin bateria para asi ahorrar lo maximo.
Tambien existen placas bases y componentes especificos diseñados completamente por IA, aunque son dificiles de entender su funcionamiento asi que creo que no se usa tanto para dispositivos de uso comercial por si luego hay que solucionar problemas.
Que robots monten equipos, si que lo veo probable, aunque tal vez fuera mejor si tienen conectores especiales para usarse con maquina ya que los habituales son pequeños y mas adaptados para el uso humano, a menos que se diseñen para ensamblake en cadena supongo que seguira siendo mas habitual el montaje de equipos por humanos, aunque tampoco he investigado al respecto.
Aun asi, para cadenas de montaje muy automatizadas posiblemente venga casi todo integrado en placa sin cables extras pudiendo usar controladoras con discos duros integrados o m2 tambien integrados o que no necesitan conexion de cables. Los interruptores pueden venir integrados en la placa tambien, incluso la alimentacion podria dárseles mediante un conector trasero externo sin llevar fuente integrada.
Aunque claro, para esto deberíamos diferenciar entre que una IA sea quien los monte o simplemente un robot programado para seguir unos pasos específicos.
@CandelaSynth mas ligada al gaming?, para mi, el gaming junto a la estadistica son los sectores que mas han aprovechado el gaming, basicamente porque lo que habitualmente llamamos... IA en juegos, maquinas manejando personajes o ejercitos completos, aunque con parametros preconfigurados y estadisticos... pero con el tiempo se fueron entrenando esos parametros con IA "vivas" las cuales iban decidiendo y aprendiendo en tiempo real.
Ya luego lo que nos llega a los jugadores y vienen en el juego es su finalizacion entrenada, ya no aprendera mas ni interactuara para obtener info fuera de sus datos a menos que haya una actualizacion del juego en si.
Como jugador pienso en los asistentes de IA, compañeros mientras juegas, que analizan tu juego, lo que te podria interesar, guian hacia tu objetivo, como coach, espectador o instructor directo. Pudiendo asi ayudarte en diversos campos... y de paso tambien eliminando puestos de trabajo :P. Pero en serio, me imagino jugando a un juego y no teniendo que mirar manuales de instrucciones, configuraciones de teclado ni tutoriales largos, si necesitas activar una linterna o guardar el arma y no sabes como preguntarla a esa IA y obtener la respuesta, algo que a veces para averiguar recurres a internet o preguntas a compañeros, streamer o espectadores.
Luego esta el guiado del jugador e incluso adaptacion del contenido en tiempo real, ajustado dificultades, conversaciones o incluso creando misiones o mas aun... mundos completos adaptados al jugador. Un ejemplo algo simple pero facil de entender seria tener un Minecraft con mapeado procedural pero que fuera evolucionando segun gustos de jugador, y tambien generando eventos respecto a ello, siendo asi mas o menos agresivo y generando menos frustracion.
Tambien a futuro espero que se vea mucho mas ligada a optimizacion, pudiendo generar texturas y configuraciones adecuadas para cada juego y hardware, permitiendo incluso que juegue por ti por ejemplo durante 30minutos y adaptara asi su configuracion, no solo como test de rendimiento, sino tambien en como interactuara el jugador.
Por ultimo estaria la Ia interactiva con el juego a la cual poder darle ordenes para por ejemplo te ayude a organizar un inventario, contruir una base, vender o viajar a un lugar. Procesos que pueden automatizarse en muchos juegos hasta cierto punto pero siguen requiriendo decisiones... con una IA compañero podrias sentir que tienes un NPC listo que te acompaña pudiend incluso generar su propia personalidad y por suerte... a estos si podras decirle que se quiten de en medio de la puerta, se callen o que te protejan adecuadamente mientras vas al baño y peguen un grito si pasa algo importante XD.
Casi todo ello podria ser configurable mediante parametros manuales e interfaces, pero con una IA con lenguaje natural podria estandarizarse sin necesidad de aplicarlo específicamente a cada juego, posiblemente solo optimizando con la base de datos del juego para reconocer todo mas facilmente.
Personalmente, me encantaria uno de mis sueños desde pequeño, poder jugar a un juego tipico de estrategia pero pudiendole dar ordenes por voz, pedirle que me acompañen, reacciones a lo que haga y sentir que no estoy matando masillas y el resto son simples NPC tontos. Con algunos shooter te ves parte de esa emoción, pero cuando juegas en multitudinarios la sensacion es bien distinta. O el tener tu ciudad y tener tu asistente ahi. Aunque lo que seria perfecto seria un sandbox al cual decirle lo que se nos apetece hacer hoy con los amigos y nos montara ese tipo de juego y tematizado, perfecto para eventos, hacer nuestras locuras, etc... por ejemplo si queremos jugar al escondite con tematica Halloween y que cuando te pillen seas un fantasma que puedes fastidiar al que persigue XD... y eso ya nos acercaría mas a Ready Player One ^^.

Legion Community is provided by Lenovo through the services of Standing on Giants subject to these Terms (“Terms”). We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time and without notice. Your Use of Legion Community Platform

Your Content Posted or Linked to Legion Community
Lenovo allows you to submit posts or link content to Legion Community, including photos, images, videos, sounds, comments, links, tweets, likes, and other materials. A Legion Community moderator may moderate posts after publication. Lenovo reserves the right to remove user’s content that it considers to be irrelevant to the purpose of the platform, or that it considers violates any of these Terms. Lenovo may also post or link to the Platform any of your Content that you make available to Lenovo for the Platform. You are solely responsible for your Content that is posted or linked to the Platform and Lenovo accepts no liability for your Content.
You grant Lenovo and other users of the Platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, create derivative works of, perform, publish, re-post, re-tweet, and distribute your Content on or in connection with the Platform.

Representations and Warranties
You represent and warrant that:

Upon our request made to you from time to time, you will cooperate with us and allow us access to your systems, communications, and records solely in connection with determining your compliance with these Terms.
Visiting Third Party Websites
The Platform may contain links to third party websites, advertisers, products, services, offers, or other events or activities that are not owned or controlled by Lenovo. Lenovo does not assume any responsibility for any such third party sites, information, materials, products, services or offers. If you access any third party website, product, service, or content from the Platform, you do so at your own risk and you agree that Lenovo will have no liability arising from your use of or access to any third party website, product, service, or content.
Trademarks and Ownership of Intellectual Property

Upon termination, all licenses and other rights granted to you in these Terms will immediately cease. Following termination, Lenovo may retain your Content as permitted by applicable law for backup, archival, or audit purposes. Furthermore, Lenovo and its other users may retain and continue to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, create derivative works of, perform, and distribute any of your Content that other users have stored or shared through the Platform.
Indemnification

Entire Agreement; Severability
These Terms, together with Lenovo’s Data Privacy Policy and any amendments and any additional agreements you may enter into with Lenovo in connection with the Platform, shall constitute the entire agreement between you and Lenovo concerning the Platform. If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, then that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.
Limitations of Liability
Neither Lenovo nor its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, third party content providers, sponsors, or licensors warrant that the Site will be continuous, uninterrupted or error-free. THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ITS CONTENT, IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.
