    Hello Legion Gamers!

Steam is having a Medieval Fest! This one is a third-party event, not an official one, so no trailer. We can jump in directly with what's on offer:

Not much to say, really. If you like the Medieval genre, chances are, you can find something you'd want to grab while it's on sale. But you know who has something to say about these games? One of the Kingdom Come: Deliverance creators, Daniel Vávra:

Here is that tweet (or whatever it is called now 😅). Daniel may be seen as a bit of an expert in that, as KC: D is famously very detailed and graphically advanced. Still, to each their own, some enjoy minimalist graphics or games that do not demand much from the hardware.

Personally, I too value artistic style, but it does not necessarily need to be intricate or detailed, it can instead win with a creative approach. So I want to grab and check out Inkulinati, and Rising Lords looks interesting, but a 40% discount is too little for me. And it's only Mostly Positive, too.

Time for tags! @SKYTRiXSHA, @DracoTarot, @ZaidH, @miskkie, @uptjackmalo, @tntiseverywere, @Telomina, @RatlleRo, @AgariciRo, @Cysero and @Warmarck I'll tag you in case you like games from the Dark Ages 😉 Do you agree with Daniel about the style?

    See anything that you like?

Won't disagree on the "more Manor Lords" bit. Wartales is very good as well.

Really not too bothered by pixel art "childish" games. Not every game can be a realistic AAA title. Many of these "lighter" titles are very fun, that goes a long way.

@miskkie Wartales, the one that releases new DLC tomorrow? Do you know if they plan more after that one? They have this map:

I am assuming that the Q4 thing is what is released tomorrow, but no plans for 2026...

I am rarely bothered by it, but sometimes when art is too pixel, I do feel a bit odd about the game. Feel like it could benefit from a different style, not necessarily more advanced. And even progress does not always look good: there's been 12 years, I think, between Defender’s Quest 1 and Defender’s Quest 2, but I like how the first one looks more...
