There are two different models with the same name, 16IRX10 and 16IAX10. The 16IRX10 has older Raptor lake processors and one IPS display option while the 16IAX10 has newer Arrow Lake processors and OLED display options along with the same IPS. Configurations with 16GB or 24GB of RAM use one slot by default, so there is one slot ready for upgrading, 32GB models use both slots. Also the 16IAX10 has a Type-C port with Thunderbolt 4/USB 4. The choice really depends on the use case, price and what else available in the region. I would go for the newer model due to better power efficiency of Arrow Lake and an awesome OLED screen.

It is generally a good gaming laptop, but the exact specifications and price matter a lot. The RTX 5060 or RTX 5070 versions are probably the safest choices because they offer strong performance without the higher price and heat of the RTX 5070 Ti model. The laptop also has upgradeable RAM and two SSD slots, which is useful long-term.
Before buying, check that it has at least 16 GB of dual-channel RAM, a 1 TB SSD, and the display you actually want. Also expect loud fans, noticeable heat during long gaming sessions, and around four to six hours of light battery use rather than all-day battery life.
Send the CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, screen and price of the one you found, and I’ll tell you whether that specific configuration is worth buying.
