Everyone considers The Lenovo Legion and Asus ROG Zephyrus series to be on top when in comes to gaming laptops. Which one is better though? The G14 has better speakers, much better portability, and a superior battery life. The base 15.6" Legion 5, on the other hand, has a bigger keyboard, rgb, a higher wattage gpu, These differences make the battle pretty even, along with other features I didn't mention. I personally think the Legion series is better, but the Zephyrus is a close second. I don't really care about speakers, as I use headphones, but the portability is something I could take advantage of. One of the biggest downsides on the Legion series is the protruding back with all the i/o. That and the chunky charger make it harder to if you need to carry it everyday. The reason I prefer the Legion, even though it has this downside, is because of the overall look. It's sleek, clean, and looks like a normal work laptop for the most part. I really like the design, and as I said before, the only flaw in the design is the back part. I personally dislike the Zephyrus design, specifically the G14 or G15. The keyboard font looks unappealing, the keys themself are shaped weirdly, and the arrow keys are smushed together. This laptop is too gamer-y and I prefer a design that isn't. The outside looks fine, but its the inside that I'll be staring at so that the main part. I see why people would go for the Zephyrus, but for me the design just isn't it. If they redesigned the G15 to look less gamer-y while keeps all of the features that outdo the legion 5, then I would definitely pick the G15. Anyways, that's just my opinion and I'm pretty sure lots of people love the design and buy the laptop for that reason. What do you guys think? Which laptop do you prefer (Probably Legion since we're here) and what do you think of the design choices Lenovo made vs the design on the Zephyrus models?
