I finally got around to reviewing my current favorite piece of tech. I got this tablet in December of 2025, and I meant to review it a week after receiving it, but due to other matters, I wasn't able to get around to it. Now, I finally have the time. Here are my full thoughts in a short video: https://youtu.be/VdXq6Nly8cY How do you think I did? Did I leave anything out? Was it good enough for a short overview?

The logic would dictate that they want customers to replace an entire headset when the product is out of warranty and the parts deteriorate. That's fine but when it's wear and tear or temperature related and all you need are some consumables, that is where they have a gaping hole in their parts inventory. Who in their right mind do they expect to pay £50-£80 to replace something that still works but has worn or cracked pads? IF I could order the replacement 50mm driver pads I need for my Legion H500 Pro I would gladly do so. Instead I have been looking at the prices on Amazon for 3rd party replacements that may not fit correctly and found even those cost as much as the entire headset part of the H500 set. If you weren't aware, the only difference between the H300 and H500 is the USB Amp the headset plugs into via the 3.5mm jack. after that point I can order an H300 for the same price as the pads. It seems daft to throw out an entire headset because of cracked and splitting pads from usage and ultimately the recent heatwave melting the pleather. They have not been in direct sunlight, it's just been that hot and humid here it weakened the pleather during usage to the point of it flaking off (the ear pads) and splitting on the headband. Newer models now use fabric instead so I am considering those but they also have a volume control I do not need on the ear piece. One alternative option I am considering is cutting up an old t-shirt and attempting to mod mine to similar result. I do have another headset from another company (HyperX something or other, not even sure of the model at this point - I won them and they are Gotham Knights themed from when that game launched) It too could be in an equally bad state by now, I have never looked at them since they got here, Schrödinger's headset at this point...

I see this tagline on signs on the World Cup playing fields. How is Lenovo AI smarter than the others?

What's one game you want to be remade that probably never will be ? For me I'd love Grandia to be totally remade (not just remastered) but I can't see it happening any time soon.

With everything that's been going on at Arkane Studios and Xbox lately, I've been thinking about what the future looks like for the studio. Arkane has always made games that felt different, and always gave me a lot of good memories. Some of them are even my fav games of all time. I am worried that sony is going to pick up Arkane and turn them console exclusive bc in opposite to Microsoft they are willing to offer exclusives to their customers. What do you guys think? Curious to hear your thoughts.

It's nothing new by now about what's been going on from Sony's terrible decisions to now MS laying off more employees which I don't need to say much about. Meanwhile Nintendo looking like saints (they're not). While on the PC space, there was a report of Steam Machine getting the Red Line of Death (Modern day RRoD) which one would think they would run QC but guess not. It's bad out here in the industry. It's been about a week or so since Sony dropped the hottest bars... and they weren't good. Sony PS has been in a lot of heat over time but nothing this big of an impact, on the levels of an asteroid that wiped the dinosaurs or even the 3rd Impact from Evangelion. It caused massive outrage, some pushback from devs like Kojima, even PS's own Naughty Dog with their banner change to even acceptance by certain types of fans... which is weird to accept any of this but not surprised also. Hopefully you're not criticizing them after preordering GTAVI tho, two sides of the same coin. Not to mention, why preorder a digital copy when they dont even run out? Not saying not to get GTAVI, more power to you but if you're gonna criticize Sony, what right do you have to do so when you're okay with spending $80-$100 for a game? You're no better, let alone one without a physical copy, just a digital code in the box. My thoughts on all this, yeah this is all terrible: From removing over 500 movies and TV shows now granted, Sony and Studio Canal failed to renew their licensing agreement but this still sucks. But this still sucks. I remember the time when they were merging Funimation with Crunchyroll and the sad news about this is that all our digital purchases were not going to migrate. There were no alternatives like downloading atleast. I was upset because I got a digital copy from my physical copy of Shin Godzilla. Then on July 1st, PS3 and Vita stores are officially shutting down. You can however still download your games but you cant buy anything. 5 years ago, they wanted to do the same thing but because of backlash from fans, they backtracked from their decision and left the stores alone. 5 years later, they're going through with it for other countries but US PS3 and Vita stores will shutdown next year. It's not good because there wont be any way for future PS3 and Vita owners to buy games legally. Sure you can find online used copies but by the time the stores shutdown, I know those prices are going to skyrocket. They would have to resort to jailbreaking. And finally the biggest one, which is them killing off physical media in 2028... The last thing I would ever want to see go is physical games. I jumped from PS5 to PC 2 years ago but even so, I still find myself buying a physical copy of a game I really like. Something about removing the plastic, opening the case and getting a good whiff of that new game (I do this with movies and CDs as well) smell just does something to me lol. Seeing the pushback to this is truly incredible but will we be victorious? Probably not. OH! Forgot about 1 more piece of bad news! So remember how when PSN was required on games like Helldivers 2 on PC? With over 100 countries blocked. And no one liked that? They removed the restriction but there's still countries blocked. Now in 2026, yeah they went back to doing this but this time with Marvel Tokon, with over 100 countries blocked... and ofc on PC yet again. Man gamers where PSN isnt accessible in their countries should not miss out on games. "Play has no limits", how ironic. They want money and yet they do this. Seeing how it's been 7 days, they've been very quiet. It's safe to say they're really not backtracking on anything. Doesn't mean people will not fight back. Really voting with their wallets. Funny thing however is apparently they have been deleting the community notes on their announcement on physical games, 7 TIMES! Glad I got out of dodge. Heck, I've seen alot of folks saying PS5 will be their last console to even some saying, "If digital only is the future then Im jumping to PC". A mass migration is going to happen or already is happening, the same way Xbox fans went from Xbox 360 to PS4. Wow, history repeats itself. Even my PSN buds and friends are asking me about what PC to get, what stores to make accounts for, controllers, everything. Makes me happy but dang. Also lots of people cancelling their PS+ which great but wish we fought back against making them mandatory back then let alone, allowing them to price hike- oh.... they plan to do that again.... So much negative news, atleast there's still the hot bangers coming this Fall and the next to look forward to... Hopefully by then these companies get their act together but I remain doubtful. TL:DR: MS Xbox laying off employees, typical. Sony PS making more dumb, anti consumer decisions but even worst, shocker. What to fight for? If digital age is the future then how about letting us keep the games? True ownership and preservation. Maybe another crash oughta wake the industry up... "You will own nothing, and you will be happy" "If buying isnt owning, then piracy isnt stealing" Also need my points, so making a post before I end up forgetting. Will read the comments as usual which duh we should lol.
