I have a Lenovo legion and my fans ramp up even for the most insignificant task seems like there should be some kind of toggle options for their preemptive cooling mine has a 10900 and 2070 super and if I open a browser too long it sounds like an airplane is going to take off I still love my laptop very much just want an easily accessible toggle function
The only three options I can think of are:
(1) Use on hard surfaces in order not to block the fans;
(2) Clean dust from inside
(3) Some issue you may have to contact Lenovo Support

Hit it with some canned air and a vacuum cleaner and see if it makes a difference. Also maybe add a power plan that has a low CPU limit that you can use when you're not gaming?
