Horror Indie Games Recommendation

What are some of indie horror games you guys played and would recommend to others? 

It doesn't have to be something massively popular, I'm just looking for something that's interesting and impressive.

For example, I played Yomawari and it was a game that's more of cute side than scary but I still enjoyed it!

PC, console, mobile, it doesn't matter

    Play "Ghost in the pool", that's a terrific horror visual novel!

    The only game I think I've played in this category is "Lone Survivor" and I hated it so that might not be too helpful. I have heard good thinks about Doki Doki Literature Club! in you're into visual novels.

  • I really enjoyed Outlast 1&2 and would recommend them. I also recently played The Beast Inside and Slender which were both decent but not great. Alien which really isn't an indie is one of my favorites. It captures that feeling of survivor horror perfectly for me.

    I really liked Visage,  Amnesia: The Dark Descent, and Outlast. These are all great examples of first-person horror games. 

    If you want something more cartoony then Little Nightmares or Limbo. 

    For co-op, I would go with Phasmaphobia, Inside the Backrooms, Ghost Watchers, or Devour.

    It's more a survival game, but the The Forest is kind of scary... I recently started playing it and it's great!

    Have you tried "Murder House"? My buddies rave about it and it has an Overwhelmingly Positive review score on Steam.
