Next-Gen Integrated Graphics

Do you think lenovo should make an iGPU only gaming device using the Ryzen 7000 chips? Would you buy it and what features would you want it to have?

  • Personally I want it to have good USB4 support or even oculink like recent stuff from GPD. Big accessory market for that now we have seen oculink in its original use rather than servers.

  • SOUINDS LIKE A GOOD IDEA.  PROBALBY WOULD BUY IT.  SHOUD HAVE HIGH SPEED AND EXCELLENT GRAPHICS.

  • The trick would be the controllers, but I would really like to see that!

  • Wouldn’t that get hot as heck?

  • That could be very interesting.  I'm sure LENOVO is always looking for ways to make the best, most competitive devices!

  • No they shouldn't.   Nor would I buy it.    They would waste money trying to compete in a market that has it cornered by 3 major companies.

  • I think if Ally does well Legion brand will come up with something in this area too

  • I totally agree. It would more likely end up being a wasted effort at least for the time being. Things could change where there are better competition conditions. Lenovo make good laptops and desktops and already offer a good variety based on need. It just isn't a good investment to put revenue there. I also wouldn't buy one. I am happy with the dedicated GPU legion laptops and pcs that they already offer.

  • while interesting to see especially in a small light portable, not sure how well it would do as most gamers prefer and use dedicated gpu systems for good reason

  • Not a dedicated gaming device, but incorporating iGPUs in non gaming laptops would be much better. I would never buy a dedicated gaming device with a iGPU, but would want it in a non gaming device so I can play some games on it.
