What was your most recent GPU upgrade and why? 
What did you have before the upgrade?

    went from vega 64 to 7900xt - to play games like cyberpunk a lot better

    I went from an 8800GT (built ~2009) to an RX580 (built 2018) (which still runs the recent games reasonably well).  I upgraded because it'd been a very long time since my prior upgrade and wasn't able to play all newer games at the time.

    HAD TO HAVE SOME REPAIRS MADE.  THE TECH MADE IMAGES SHARPER, AMONG OTHER THINGS.

    Went from a gifted (used) laptop with 700 series gpu to a used laptop with a GTX970.  Had that for several years before it eventually died.

    I upgraded my graphics card recently!

  • Actually my last GPU upgrade was buying a new laptop a few years ago.  Sorry, don't have a desktop that you can easily upgrade GPU. (Up to a point...)

    I went from a mobile gtx 1660 to a mobile rtx 3060. The 1st laptop had a problem that I couldn't figure out even with full resets and I was able to get the 2nd one discounted twice because of a promotion.

    1650 super upgraded to a 3070.  i had the money and wanted an upgrade for the GPU and for i used Xmas money for more upgrades as well.
