Any fun multiplayer games that you recommend?

If you like RTS games, try Forged Alliance Forever!

If you like third person games I would recommend Assassins Creed Odyssey. Odyssey is by far my favorite of the newer Assassins Creed games, however, there’s not much of a multiplayer aspect to it. Story is great tho. A good 1st person game I recommend is Sea of Thieves. It’s a fun, interactive multiplayer pirate game where you explore islands hunting for treasure and fighting other players ships. There’s also fun world events and stuff like that.

Might depend on what you're looking for, I know of Star Wars the Old Republic, can be fun. There's also Orcs must Die, Deep Rock Galactic, Eve Online, Smite, and Warhammer Vermintide 2. these are all multiplayer capable games that I'd recommend checking out, all depending on your tastes.

Is GTA online too mainstream?  I've really enjoyed playing it in the past, it's deeper than most shooters and the world is just a bit more fun to play in.  Other vote would be Elder Scrolls online, also RPG like but totally different vibe.

Some "simpler" ones I've enjoyed are Stick Fight, Duck Game, Speed Runners, and Runbow.

Deep rock galactic is amazing, cheap, and well optimized. Always have a good time with randoms. The only catch is it's first person.

A couple of people already mentioned Deep Rock Galactic but it's a great recommendation as well.
