how do I get ethernet without running cables through my walls?

I am trying to run ethernet to my PC in my room, but I do not have cable for it running through the walls. I have tried a MoCA adapter but that did not work, and am wondering if there are any other ways to get ethernet to my PC.

  • So this is tough. At my old house, my cable internet "source" was around where the living room/TV was which worked for having cable and downstairs WiFi. But I wanted ethernet to my office which was on the second floor and a few rooms over, so I drilled a hole to the outside, ran the cable outside my house up to the attic, then dropped it down from there.

OTHERWISE, I recommend the Eero whole-home wifi. Got it with the fiber in my new house and when my desktop isn't plugged into ethernet, I get about 50mb/s which should work for online gaming.
