How are we feeling about Activision and Microsoft morph?

Are we worried about the take over? Will COD be super expensive for Sony players, will it even be available to play with the newer titles in the next few years? 

(Will COD be available as one of those titles free to play with Xbox game pass or pc game pass??)

    While COD is still somewhat of a juggernaut with FPS gaming it seems to get blasted year after year by players, yet still sells MILLIONS! Microsoft has already said that COD will be on the Playstation for at least 10 years and at the start of the next-gen cycle giving Sony time to develop its own COD game. They could easily revive Killzone or have Bungie create a Destiny spin-off series. With the 1st party studios that Sony does own, I'm sure they can create something just as good if not better.

    Microsoft is happy to sell software to competitors at a reasonable markup, they've been selling office to Mac users for decades.  COD is probably even more popular than office, so no way they'll shut off that cash spigot any time soon.

    No worries.  Microsoft is willing to split sales with other vendors and I don't see that ending.

  • I think COD will still be sold on all platforms. It's too big of a decades old juggernaut of an IP for Microsoft to pass up sales on ps4 and ps5. Microsoft needs to see its return on investment. I just don't see Microsoft passing up ps4/ps5 sales when we are talking upon millions of copies and MTs but you never know. Anything could happen.

    Say your goodbyes. Refer the to Microsoft graveyard. I also recall reading an article about how consolidation of the game market is bad for everyone.

    I'm not too worried to be honest. I still believe that the cost will be thesame but maybe later down the line, they might not give full support of the games features. Or CoD will be the same for PS and Xbox as it's always been.

    I FEEL GOOD ABOUT THE COMBINATION OF THE TWO.  BOTH COMPANIES ARE INNOVATORS.  BOTH WANT TO SUCCESS SO I THINK THAT IT IS A GOOD MATCH.

    Microsoft is slightly more intelligent at the software game ....they happy to sell to other users for as long as the cash keeps spilling in.............although i hate the consolidation that seems to be happening

    Microsoft is not like Sony, so it will definitely be available for PlayStation. And you can expect it to show on Xbox Game Pass as well!
