Installing FMCB in Play Station 2

So, I was trying to install FMCB (FreeMCBoot) on my console and I watched a bunch of videos. Most of the videos said that FMCB doesn't work for the 900xx series slim modules. Unfortunately my console is 90001 module. Any suggestions on what should I do?

    First I have heard of this.    I have 2 PS2s sitting in a box in the game room.   I may have to do this to one of them.

  • You can use Swapmagic or I think I Amazon sells FMCB ps2 memory cards that supposedly work on slim consoles except the SCPH-9000 series. I am not sure how reputable the sellers on Amazon are. You would have to do some research. You might be able to find someone selling a ps2 memory card with FMBB on it already on various market places.

    AS A SEARCH TERM, I WOULD TRY USING "HOW DO I INSTALL FMCB IN A 900 XX SERIES SLIMMODULE" AND SEE WHAT THE RESULTS ARE.

    While FMCB may not work on all 90001 series consoles, it's a good idea to check for any updates or new developments in the homebrew community. Sometimes, new methods or workarounds are discovered that extend compatibility to more PS2 Slim models.
