Getting Started

1. Link your My Lenovo Rewards account on Lenovo Communities and accept the updated terms of service. (Not a member yet? Don’t worry, you can easily join right from the community).

  

2. Navigate to your Community Rewards Dashboard.

  

3. View your balance and start earning My Lenovo Rewards by clicking on the tiles of available activities.

  

4. Use your My Lenovo Rewards points by visiting Lenovo.com and spend them on any purchase!

  

5. View Points Expiration, Point History, and Helpful Links anytime from your Community Rewards Dashboard.

Ways to Earn Points

1,000 My Lenovo Reward points are worth $1.00. You can earn up to 10,000 My Lenovo Reward points ($10) each calendar month on Lenovo Communities.

You can earn My Lenovo Rewards Points on Lenovo Communities in the following ways:

  • (2000) | Profile completion - (1/lifetime) – 2000 pt/each
  • (1000) | Add or accept a friend - (10/month) - 100 pt/each
  • (1000) | Receive likes or ratings - (5/month) - 200 pt/each
  • (1000) | Leave a like or rating - (20/month) - 50 pt/each
  • (3000) | Leave a comment - (10/month) - 300 pt/each
  • (4000) | Start a new forum thread - (2/month) - 2000 pt/each

Please note that two point earn methods are subject to effort quality requirements (“Leave a comment” and “Start a new forum thread”). When completing these methods, please make sure to contribute meaningful discussions and/or comments that keep the conversation going. Members who repeatedly contribute low-effort, spam, or malicious submissions may be suspended from point-earning temporarily or permanently at Community Managers’ discretion.

Once you've accrued enough points, you can view your total available rewards through your Rewards Dashboard. Points are immediately available and useable at checkout on Lenovo.com as you earn them.

Am I eligible to earn Community My Lenovo Rewards?

US members on Legion Gaming, LenovoEDU, and LenovoPRO Communities are currently eligible to participate in the Community My Lenovo Rewards program. We hope to expand the program to our communities in United Kingdom, Australia, Japan and Germany soon – stay tuned!
 

How do I use my points I’ve earned from Lenovo Communities?

Points are immediately available for use on Lenovo.com as you earn them in Lenovo Communities. Simply use them at checkout! You can browse gaming products on Lenovo.com to spend your points on here.
 

Where can I see how many points I have available to use?

You can view your points total on community by visiting your Rewards Dashboard, or anytime on your Lenovo.com account profile. Your lifetime total points and available points are always visible for your reference. You can also view your point balance in your My Lenovo Rewards dashboard by hovering over your profile, clicking on Profile -> View Rewards.
 

What are Total Lifetime Points?

Total Lifetime Points refers to your total points earned over the course of your membership on Lenovo Communities (does not include “Legacy” points – read more below). This number includes expired and/or used points. It’s a fun way to keep track of your lifetime point-earning achievements in Lenovo Communities!
 

Are there any rules for point-earning?

Yes. “Leave a comment” and “Start a new forum thread” activities are subject to effort quality requirements. When completing these methods, please make sure to contribute meaningful discussions and/or comments that keep the conversation going. Members who repeatedly contribute low-effort, spam, or malicious submissions may be suspended from point-earning temporarily or permanently at Community Managers’ discretion. Please refer to Community Terms of Service for more details.
 

Do my points expire?

Yes. Your points will expire 6 months after the date you earned them, on the last day of that calendar month. You can review your points expirations on your My Lenovo Rewards Dashboard. You can receive communications about your points if you go to your profile and change your communication preferences, so you never miss an update on your rewards.
 

Is there a limit to how many points I can earn on Lenovo Communities?

Yes, you can earn up to 10,000 points (equivalent to $10) in My Lenovo Rewards points each calendar month in Lenovo Communities. Explore and engage in the community and on Lenovo.com to discover all the ways to earn points.
 

Can I earn points in multiple Lenovo Communities?

Yes! However, you are limited to earning 10,000 total points ($10) monthly across all three Lenovo Community sites (LenovoEDU, LenovoPRO, and Legion Gaming Community). Please note that your available points display may take up to 2 hours to sync if you are are active in multiple Lenovo communities.
 

What happens to the points I had on Lenovo Communities before February 14, 2023?

If you earned Legacy points on Lenovo Communities before this My Lenovo Rewards update, your existing Legacy points will be reset. However, we know that some members worked hard to rank up the leaderboard before this update! We want to recognize our most-active founding members. If you earned at least 1000 total Legacy points prior to this reset, you will receive a special Community Badge & $5 in My Lenovo Rewards.
 

How can I get alerts about new opportunities to earn points on Lenovo Communities?

You can opt-in to receive updates on Lenovo Communities events and activities by creating an account on any of our three Lenovo Community pages:

Can I lose access to earning My Lenovo Rewards points on Lenovo Communities?

Yes. If an account demonstrates attempted abuse of the points system on Lenovo Communities, that account may be suspended and/or removed from points earning at Lenovo’s discretion.
