Hoy os traigo un tema histórico: La evolución de los juegos de FIFA (ups, que ya no se llama así!). Desde aquellos tiempos de los 16 bits hasta las recreaciones hiper realistas de las estrellas del balompié.
FIFA 94’ (o FIFA International Soccer): El que lo empezó todo, salió a finales del 93´para celebrar el mundial del 94. Aunque había 76 naciones, los jugadores no estaban basados en jugadores reales como hoy en día
FIFA 95´: Ya se va viendo una mejora en los gráficos, y aunque se incluyeron algunos clubs tanto de Europa como Brasil o los USA, los personajes seguían siendo ficticios
FIFA 96´: Supuso el salto a la cámara 3D y a un enfoque más realista. EA se hizo con algunas licencias para usar futbolistas reales y empieza a implementar herramientas de personalización de los equipos
FIFA 97’: Introdujo jugadores hechos con polígonos, lo que supuso un gran cambio en cuanto al aspecto visual.
FIFA 98´ Road to the World Cup: Supuso otro salto cualitativo en los gráficos y la introducción de 176 equipos nacionales y 16 estadios. Además, empezó a incluir canciones de músicos famosos, como “Song 2” de Blur como canción de apertura del juego
FIFA 99´: Hubo reajuste de ligas, pero quizá la característica más memorable del juego fue la introducción de expresiones faciales en los jugadores e inclusive diferencia en alturas, lo que le dio mucho más realismo.
FIFA 00´: Como dato curioso, Robbie Williams fue capturado con tecnología de captura de movimiento en esta edición, aunque los cambios en la jugabilidad no entusiasmaron a todos los aficionados
FIFA 01´: ¡Por primera vez en la historia de la franquicia, es posible jugar online!
FIFA 02´: Permite al jugador personalizar las barras de energía de los pases por primera vez. Es el último FIFA que incorpora la liga Japonesa, pues después se la llevaría Konami con el Pro Evolution Soccer.
FIFA 03´: Se actualiza el motor gráfico, que logra introducir más detalle en las equipaciones o el público. Se introduce el Club Championship mode.
FIFA 04´: Se introducen las segundas divisiones y equipos de fútbol de Latinoamérica más allá de los de Brasil
FIFA 05´: Se añade el “First touch” como mecánica de juego, que permitía hacer jugadas y pases más realistas.
FIFA 06´: Este año supuso un antes y un después para toda la serie, se mejora el motor gráfico, consiguiendo más realismo y la jugabilidad también se perfeccionó, incluyendo mecánicas como la “química de equipo”, con la que variaba cómo los jugadores interactuaban entre ellos.
FIFA 07´: Se añaden las ligas interactivas, y un par de estadios más como el de Wembley. Fue el último de la serie en publicarse para GameCube, Xbox y Game Boy Advance.
FIFA 08´: A parte de la tradicional mejora en gráficos y jugabilidad, se incluye el modo “Se un Pro” en el que se puede controlar a un único jugador y el campo de prácticas, dónde los jugadores pueden entrenar antes de los partidos.
FIFA 09´: El primer FIFA que permite al jugador elegir las celebraciones de los goles. Se mejora el modo online, y se introduce el “Adidas Live Season”, que permite actualizar las estadísticas de los jugadores basándose en su rendimiento en la vida real.
FIFA 10´: En esta década, la serie se perfecciona hasta prácticamente quedarse con el monopolio de los juegos de fútbol. Por ejemplo, se introduce el control de los jugadores en 360 grados, con respecto al de 8 direcciones que caracterizó a los juegos anteriores.
FIFA 11´: Se introduce la opción de jugar como portero por primera vez además de un nuevo sistema de pases.
FIFA 12´: Fue un año revolucionario para FIFA, sobre todo en cuanto a jugabilidad, con un motor mejorado que consiguió dar un matiz mucho más realista a la física en el juego. Asi como también al número de plataformas para las que se publicó. Por ejemplo, fue la primera vez en la que la versión PC contaba con todas sus características, y se hicieron versiones de para móviles también.
FIFA 13´: Fue muy difícil superar a su predecesor, y esta es la razón por la que recibió críticas por no haber innovado con respecto al 12´. Aun así, pequeñas mejoras son introducidas, como la mejora de la IA en cuanto al ataque, por ejemplo.
FIFA 14 ́: Se cambia el motor de juego a “Ignite”, lo que supuso más mejoras en la IA, haciendo que los jugadores respondieran de forma más humana.
FIFA 15´: Se llega a un acuerdo de licencias con la Premier League, lo que supone la introducción de todos sus estadios, árbitros y cantos de la audiencia sacados directamente de la vida real.
FIFA 16´: La primera vez que se introducen jugadoras de fútbol sacadas de la liga de USA, Australia o Canadá
FIFA 17´: Frostbite se convierte en el nuevo motor de juego, lo que supone mejoras en cuanto a IA, ataques y física. Además, se incluye un modo de historia de jugador individual.
FIFA 18´: 2018 no fue un año particularmente bueno para FIFA, con críticas por las microtransacciones Ultimate Pro y por el número de bugs y fallos. Se introduce una nueva habilidad en el modo historia llamada el “giro de Cruyff”
FIFA 19´: Se añade un nuevo sistema de control de los jugadores llamado “Active Touch System” y otras mejoras en la jugabilidad. Unos meses después de su lanzamiento, ofrecieron un DLC gratis del mundial femenino.
FIFA 20´: Vuelve el “Street football” con el modo “Football VOLTA”, que permitió introducir partidos de 3V3, 4V4 y 5V5
FIFA 21´: Añaden la función online al modo VOLTA y tras algunas críticas de los fans, se mejora el modo Carrera, con un nuevo sistema de entrenamiento, IA mejorada y más opciones de traspaso.
FIFA 22´: Se introduce “HyperMotion2”, un motor de captura de movimiento con el que se inmortalizan a 22 jugadores reales, lo que añade mucho más realismo, tanto dentro como fuera del campo.
FIFA 23´: ¡El final de una era con el último FIFA de la serie! Por primera vez en su historia, una jugadora femenina sale en la portada. Además, se pueden jugar ambos mundiales (masculino y femenino). Finalmente, el motor de captura usado en la edición anterior introduce aún más realismo

Y bueno, en España, FIFA siempre ha sido uno de los juegos más populares (aunque a mi tampoco es que me entusiasme...). Esperemos que ahora que ha cambiado de nombre, no te vuelvan a poner en uno de estos 😅
Pues la verdad es que escribiendo este post, me he percatado de la cantidad de trabajo y mejoras en jugabilidad (y todo lo demás) que han introducido a lo largo de los años!!
No soy experta en el juego, pero me pregunto ¿qué más le van a hacer para perfeccionarlo?
Y como bien dices, el tiempo dirá si el cambio de marca le ayuda o no...Me gustaría pensar que dará lugar a otros estudios a hacer frente al monopolio y ofrecer algo novedoso??
(a mí me gustaría ver equipos de fútbol mixtos, porque creo que el fútbol es uno de los pocos deportes en los que se podría hacer...!)
Recuerdos de la infancia desbloqueados, hace eones yo le daba mucho al FIFA, fue el 02 al que particularmente vicie bastante, yo venía del ISS Pro '98 también le dí bastante a ese, si alguien lo juega que sepa que Ronaldo corre que se las pela, creo que, y mira que jugué con todas las selecciones, nadie absolutamente nadie, corría como Ronaldo Nazario, que zancada, era brutal.
Algún año me volveré a pillar un FIFA o el que será ahora su nuevo nombre EA SPORTS FC 24, pero ahora mismo estoy muy fuera de los videojuegos de deportes, por que aunque dan muchas horas de diversión no tienen ese componente como una buena trama o un desafío en si, aunque se pueda jugar on-line.
Vayaaaa, esto si que no me lo esperaba... lo mismo le doy una oportunidad, solo para ver equipos de jugadores mixtos ¿crees que esto pasará alguna vez en la vida real? 🤔
Estoy de acuerdo, a mi también lo que me llama son las historias o los mundos que no existen en la vida real...en todo caso, creo que simuladores deportivos de este tipo son divertidos cuando se juegan con amigos o para aquellos super forofos del fútbol que sueñan con entrenar y gestionar su propio equipo
(esos entrenadores de sofá, como decía el amigo @YeiCov 😂 )

Lenovo reserves the right to remove user’s content that it considers to be irrelevant to the purpose of the platform, or that it considers violates any of these Terms. Lenovo may also post or link to the Platform any of your Content that you make available to Lenovo for the Platform. You are solely responsible for your Content that is posted or linked to the Platform and Lenovo accepts no liability for your Content.

Representations and Warranties
You represent and warrant that:

Lenovo does not assume any responsibility for any such third party sites, information, materials, products, services or offers. Termination

Upon termination, all licenses and other rights granted to you in these Terms will immediately cease. Following termination, Lenovo may retain your Content as permitted by applicable law for backup, archival, or audit purposes. Furthermore, Lenovo and its other users may retain and continue to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, create derivative works of, perform, and distribute any of your Content that other users have stored or shared through the Platform.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Lenovo and its employees, officers, affiliates and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation, reasonable attorney's fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with any of the following: (i) Your Content or your misuse of the Platform; (ii) your breach or alleged breach of these Terms; (iii) your violation of any third party right, including without limitation, any intellectual property right, publicity, confidentiality, property or privacy right; (iv) your violation of any laws, rules, regulations, codes, statutes, ordinances or orders of any governmental authorities, including, without limitation, all regulatory, administrative and legislative authorities; or (v) any misrepresentation made by you. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain.
Entire Agreement; Severability
These Terms, together with Lenovo’s Data Privacy Policy and any amendments and any additional agreements you may enter into with Lenovo in connection with the Platform, shall constitute the entire agreement between you and Lenovo concerning the Platform. If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, then that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.
Limitations of Liability
Neither Lenovo nor its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, third party content providers, sponsors, or licensors warrant that the Site will be continuous, uninterrupted or error-free. THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ITS CONTENT, IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.
