Sí, mi pregunta estaba más enfocada no a la IA "antigua" (imprescindible e íntimamente ligada a los juegos a los que llevamos jugando décadas!), sino a la "moderna", es decir, desde la popularización de los LLM.
Eso que comentas de darle órdenes por voz a tu asistente de juego (tal como lo imagino, sería como tener un compañer@ siempre disponible para jugar) no creo que esté tan lejos. Y sería muy interesante ver cómo Microsfot mejora el copilot para gaming. ¿Cómo van tus últimas probantinas con esto, por cierto? Recuerdo que no hace mucho hablamos de esto y me preguntaba si había mejorado últimamente : )
Lo de que te diseñe un juego según tus gustos y cuando quieras, eso sí ya lo veo más complejo, pero bueno, Roblox es casi esto ya (aunque aún son humanos quien generan los diferentes mundos). Ahora eso sí, el entorno se podría pulir más visualmente XD
La "IA" antigua recuerda que se también existen en proyectos modernos como Deepmind, la cual es una IA viva en evolución. En el futuro podría así jugarse contra IA en constante evolución, tanto en shooter, estrategia y otros tipos de juegos. Ahora imaginate en juegos mas modernos y masivos, donde una IA pudiera liderar facciones completas, cambiando tanto su modo de jugar, donde tener las bases, el equipamiento para responder a como actuan los jugadores, cambiar sus rutas, formas de actuar, etc... reaccionando para adaptarse a los jugadores igual que los jugadores se adaptan para aprovechar de esa IA o sacar ventaja a otros jugadores.
Ahora mismo todo lo de copilot, Windows 11 y con la caída reciente de servidores lo tengo paralizado, esperare primero que hagan un parche que estabilice todo.
Lo de crear juegos propios o mas bien, usar las herramienta de un sandbox no lo veo tan descabellado, solo necesita tener muchos ejemplos creados y correctamente etiquetados, lo cual es deseable en este tipo de entornos, para lo cual luego la IA usaria esos trozos etiquetados reuniendolos para crear algo posiblemente unico.
Respecto a lo de texturas, no se como funciona actualmente en esos juegos, pero claro, cargar recursos externos supone un coste para los servidores o usar las texturas a nivel local, Minecraft por ejemplo permite asociar a mundos creados packs de texturas, peroen un juego con muchos gráficos esos packs podrian ocupar muchos GB, al igual que pasa con mods complejos que cambian el aspecto fisico de un juego.
A futuro, los sandbox podrian hacer como Nintendo, WoW o Fornite, facilitando texturas mas simples con menos detalles, mas limpias, lo cual no daria sensacion de mal hechas, pudiendo usar muchos elementos preconstruidos del propio entorno lo cual unido a iluminacion, fisica y reescalado (todo puede ser usando IA) dar resultados al menos que no desentonen. Logicamente actualmente no podemos pedirle una capacidad inventiva alta y seguira patrones estabecidos y controados para que no sea un caos. Pero en un futuro, tal vez podamos mediante esas mismas ordenes tener generadores de mundo por IA.
Es mas, me temo, que es algo en lo que ya están trabajando muy activamente algunos estudios XD. Para asi, posteriormente espero modificar cada detalle del escenario y su interaccion tras haberles dado la base sobre la cual trabajar. Por ejemplo, para casos mas simples podrían usar una base de datos de todos los mapas de todos los MOBA, y luego adaptarlos con temáticas y recursos gráficos de su propia base de datos. Teniendo esa base coherente y que se sabe que da buen resultado solo habria que darle una personalidad final, detalles y hacerlo mas unico para que el jugador no notara apenas la diferencia... de hecho, mas de una vez nos la habran colado XD.

Si, de hecho en los albores del machine learning se usaron videojuegos para entrenar a las IAs, así que tiene todo el sentido que estos universos hechos de código sean sus campos de juegos y aprendizaje : )
No decía que fuera descabellado, como bien dices, ya hay grandes estudios trabajando en ello, pues abaratará y hará más rápida esa base para la creación de mundos digitales. Lo que veo más complejo es que este tipo de sandbox estén disponibles para el usuario de primeras, y sobre todo, de forma gratuita (como Roblox o Minecraft).
En tu caso y suponiendo que algo así existiera a futuro, ¿pagarías por una subscripción para tener acceso a este servicio de "crear tus propios juegos"? 🤔

Habría que ver contenido, calidad, limitaciones y... precio XD.
Pero actualmente si tengo tal cantidad de juegos disponibles y la posibilidad de jugar a lo de otros, no le vería demasiado sentido ya que difícilmente mi contenido generado seria mejor que uno hecho a medida.
Pero para comunidades donde uno contrate un servicio y el resto disfrute o aquellos que solo quieran jugar a una plataforma de juegos y no le interesen el resto que haya salido puede ser muy útil.
O a jugadores de nicho que solo quieran cosas muy especificas y ya hayan disfrutado lo suficiente de lo actual del genero.
Como comento, lo vería mas para usuarios habituales de esas plataformas como los enganchados a Fornite, Roblox, Minecraft, etc. Un ejemplo de ello es cuando se creaban modificaciones en Warcraft y Starcraft, había gente que prefería jugar esos juegos personalizados que probar a descargar de terceros.
Lo de una suscripción para "juegos creados" lo veo mas al estilo acceder a los juegos perfeccionados de otros jugadores que podrían ponerlos ellos de pago (y supongamos que la IA no podrá viendo unos videos recrearlos totalmente, que ese es otro tema XD).
O tal vez podríamos tener la opción de acceso de pago por uso de IA para automatización de juegos importantes que te costaría a ti hacerlo manualmente, hablamos de sustituir decenas de horas de trabajo manual por trabajo automatizado lo cual si seria rentable para cierto publico como empresas, comunidades y en definitiva aquellos que quieren crear pequeñas experiencias para sus comunidades.
Todo esto debemos tener en cuenta que existen aun pack de Humble Bundle, ofertas de juegos y servicios de suscripción que por 5-20€ te pueden ofrecer decenas o cientos de juegos diferentes, así que como todo, habría que ver si sale rentable.
Personalmente, preferiría no pagar si es para uso personal, pues se que me llevaría mas tiempo creando que jugando, pero si lo pagaría si eso me permitiera crear experiencia requeridas para otros ahorrándome tiempo y trabajo... como pasa actualmente con la IA mas allá del ámbito de videojuegos.
Además, todos sabemos que antes de eso se usaría posiblemente para generar DLC, micropagos y otros por partes de empresa como hacen actualmente. Y que a nivel publico si eso, se convertira en un servicio de suscripcion de por ejemplo Unreal para la creacion de videojuegos, lo cual lo veria bien, al igual que Photoshop tiene el suyo para diseño, Da Vinci para modificacion y adecuacion de videos, Microsoft integrado con ofimatica y cada vez integrandose mas en diferentes sectores.

Legion Community enables its registered users (the “Users") to post and share content, such as information about Lenovo products, services, events, social media activity and videos ("Content”) to the Platform.
Legion Community is provided by Lenovo through the services of Standing on Giants subject to these Terms (“Terms”). We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time and without notice. If we amend the Terms, we will post the amended Terms on this page gaming.lenovo.com/emea/register/ and indicate at the top of the page the date the Terms were last revised. Your continued use of the Platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

Your Use of Legion Community Platform

Lenovo allows you to submit posts or link content to Legion Community, including photos, images, videos, sounds, comments, links, tweets, likes, and other materials. A Legion Community moderator may moderate posts after publication. Lenovo reserves the right to remove user’s content that it considers to be irrelevant to the purpose of the platform, or that it considers violates any of these Terms. Lenovo may also post or link to the Platform any of your Content that you make available to Lenovo for the Platform. You are solely responsible for your Content that is posted or linked to the Platform and Lenovo accepts no liability for your Content.
You grant Lenovo and other users of the Platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, create derivative works of, perform, publish, re-post, re-tweet, and distribute your Content on or in connection with the Platform.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary in your Content for it to be on or available from the Platform, and that the posting and use of your Content on or through the Platform does not violate, misappropriate or infringe on the rights of any third party, including, without limitation, privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, trademark and/or other intellectual property rights. Representations and Warranties

Upon our request made to you from time to time, you will cooperate with us and allow us access to your systems, communications, and records solely in connection with determining your compliance with these Terms.
Visiting Third Party Websites
The Platform may contain links to third party websites, advertisers, products, services, offers, or other events or activities that are not owned or controlled by Lenovo. Lenovo does not assume any responsibility for any such third party sites, information, materials, products, services or offers. If you access any third party website, product, service, or content from the Platform, you do so at your own risk and you agree that Lenovo will have no liability arising from your use of or access to any third party website, product, service, or content.
Trademarks and Ownership of Intellectual Property

Upon termination, all licenses and other rights granted to you in these Terms will immediately cease. Following termination, Lenovo may retain your Content as permitted by applicable law for backup, archival, or audit purposes. Furthermore, Lenovo and its other users may retain and continue to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, create derivative works of, perform, and distribute any of your Content that other users have stored or shared through the Platform.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Lenovo and its employees, officers, affiliates and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation, reasonable attorney's fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with any of the following: (i) Your Content or your misuse of the Platform; (ii) your breach or alleged breach of these Terms; (iii) your violation of any third party right, including without limitation, any intellectual property right, publicity, confidentiality, property or privacy right; (iv) your violation of any laws, rules, regulations, codes, statutes, ordinances or orders of any governmental authorities, including, without limitation, all regulatory, administrative and legislative authorities; or (v) any misrepresentation made by you. Entire Agreement; Severability
These Terms, together with Lenovo’s Data Privacy Policy and any amendments and any additional agreements you may enter into with Lenovo in connection with the Platform, shall constitute the entire agreement between you and Lenovo concerning the Platform. If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, then that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.
Limitations of Liability
Neither Lenovo nor its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, third party content providers, sponsors, or licensors warrant that the Site will be continuous, uninterrupted or error-free. THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ITS CONTENT, IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.
