I heard that about Valhalla. Though I am not sure yet which AC game I like best, I am still to play Unity. But we had an interesting discussion about the best Assassin at the end of this thread. Maybe yours is Arno then?

@M2lobaz I really wish that this happens. There's a small Easter egg in AC Origins which implied that the events which took place in Watch Dogs, happened in the AC Universe. AC games are going ham on the mythology stuff, so might as well connect Prince of Persia to it😁

Do you like Unity? It is the next AC game I'll play after Rogue.
You're in for a treat! Unity has the best parkour system in the series. The sense of scale in this game (and syndicate) is just unmatched. Do share your impressions of Unity after you're done playing it :)

    @DoctorEldritch Unity Games are good.
What do you mean with Rogue?! I never heard about this game!!

I meant Unity as in Assassin's Creed Unity, this game:

As for the Rogue, similarly, I meant Assassin's Creed Rogue.

It is a tad complicated with Assassin's Creed Games, but the release of main titles goes like this:

    Assassin's Creed (2007)
This is the one about Altair.

    Assassin's Creed II (2009)
    Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (2010)
    Assassin's Creed: Revelations (2011)

These ones form the "Ezio Trilogy".

    Assassin's Creed III (2012)
    The one with Connor.

    Assassin's Creed III: Liberation (2012)
This is a spin-off ported from mobile, you play as Aveline, the first playable female assassin in the series.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (2013)
This is the one with Edward.

    Assassin's Creed Freedom Cry (2014)
Another spin-off where you get to play as Adewale, Edwards's first mate.

    Assassin's Creed Rogue (2014)
    Assassin's Creed Unity (2014)

These two came out at the same time, but chronologically, Unity takes place just after Rogue in both history and Present Day, so it is better to play Rogue first.

In Rogue, you played as Shay Patrick Cormac, an ex-assassin-turned-templar, so you play "for the other side" and it gives a glimpse into how Templars operate. And this is the game I meant when I said "Rogue". Here is a trailer for you:

Unity then goes back to Assassins with Arno Dorian in France.

And this is where I am right now, but other than that, next in line are:

    Assassin's Creed Syndicate (2015)
    Assassin's Creed Chronicles
    - (three instalments: China, India and Russia) (2016) (Another mobile-ported spin-off)
    Assassin's Creed Origins (2017)
    Assassin's Creed Odyssey (2018)
    Assassin's Creed Valhalla (2020)
    Assassin's Creed Mirage (upcoming 2022)
(the one this thread is about)

Assassins, assassins everywhere! But now we're all up to speed. How many Assassin's Creed games did you play, @JokerZida?

They did more than just hint there! In Present Day gameplay, if you hack computers and read emails, you discover that Abstergo made a partnership with Blume and hired them to update their cybersecurity (I think?):

Blume is the main antagonist corporation in Watch Dogs, so those two are linked. A multiverse may be forming. And Prince of Persia is a Ubisoft game as well, so they really could play it up well if they wanted to. We'll have to wait and see.

Thank you, now I am getting pumped! I needed the motivation to get back to it and finish playing my way through Rogue, I've been putting it off for ages. And it's easier when I know Unity has some good gameplay to offer.

@JokerZida Ah, then, if you liked the overall gameplay and universe, then there's a lot more to play.

If nothing else, I'd advise you to play Brotherhood and Revelations, because if you played AC2 with Ezio, those two games continue his story, so we actually get to follow him throughout his life. He is the main character of all 3 of those games.

@DoctorEldritch Oh wow I wasn't aware of that Blume plot line😯If the AC-verse shapes up to be a real thing, then that would probably make Sam Fisher (from Splinter Cell) a modern day Assassin. The possibilities!

@ZaidH It's been a while since we last saw the adventures of Sam Fisher. Probably because Tom Clancy is not around anymore to write for Splinter Cell games (RIP Tom Clancy). 😥

But maybe they would find someone who "gets the vibe" of those games, then it'd be possible. Currently, Ubisoft has AC and WD, those go very well together. There is also Far Cry, but that's always been more of a thing of its own.

Personally, I'd rather enjoy a twist where Abstergo's cloning program, after a series of failures to replicate the Eagle Sense effect, finally managed to produce a result that would later become known as Agent 47, the Ultimate Assassin. Because I can totally see that happening.

But, Hitman is not a Ubisoft franchise, so all I can do is dream. Though it is fun sometimes to imagine connections like this between different unrelated games.
