@zuzolo Come sopra: è una incognita e probabilmente andremo sui 2k+ quest'anno.
Io onestamente ti consiglierei di aspettare che i primi reviewer abbiano in mano questi modelli così vedi il gap e probabilmente, essendo di prossima uscita, comincerai a vedere modelli 2021 e 2022 in offerta per svuotare i magazzini. Direi di puntare, se hai pazienza, Febbraio/Marzo. Aprile se sei veramente paziente ( periodo molto più probabile di lancio europeo ).
Se invece hai una urgenza fai un post apposito e parliamone insieme in community, anche di prezzi e componenti.
Non so se ve ne siete già accorti, ma sul sito PSREF ( Product Specifications Reference ) di Lenovo hanno cominciato ad apparire le informazioni sui Legion 7i Pro.
Per ora non ci sono ancora per i modelli del mercato italiano (cosa piuttosto irritante, ci sono pure Spagna, Grecia e Portogallo ma l'Italia no ... 😡), ma immagino (e spero!) che poi ci saranno e saranno uguali a quelli dei modelli per Francia, Spagna, Germania o UK.
Notare che nelle Specifications si conferma che c'è anche un possibile modello di display a MiniLED.
MiniLED che però personalmente mi sto convincendo, come qui mi era stato detto, che non vale la pena, per poi tenerlo di fatto a luminosità normale usandolo in interni.
Mi sa che andrei con il collaudato IPS, quest'anno a 240Hz, piuttosto che con il MiniLED a 165Hz. Sarebbe però bello che il modello a MiniLED fosse già disponibile per i test che verranno fuori a settimane sulla rete, per poter fare un confronto (es.: qual'è il suo angolo buono di visione? perchè se fosse limitato come uno schermo VA se lo possono tenere anche se costasse la metà dell'IPS!).
Dando un occhiata "a campione", ma anche usando la funzione di "filtro", direi che i modelli per ora apparsi sul sito sono con i9-13900HX e RTX 4080 (e ho visto solo display IPS).
Che è la combinazione che mi attrae di più, non essendo io un "hard core gamer" che sbava per la 4090 (che oltretutto immagino indecentemente costosa) e invece mi stuzzica avere una "bestia" come il 13900HX anche per uso generale.
Da quanto leggo in giro, invece, pare che la 4070 sia solo molto marginalmente meglio (forse ...) della 3070, quindi punto sulla 4080.
Oltretutto, sembra che con la 4070 non si avrà la porta Thunderbolt/USB4, riservata ai modelli con 4080 e 4090.
Ovviamente, i prezzi faranno la metà almeno della mia decisione ... 🙄
Altra cosa: hanno tutti il nuovo alimentatore da 330W Slim, che quindi mi pare lo standard per questi modelli di fascia alta.
Aspetto con ansia i modelli per il mercato italiano (sperando che non ci rifilino solo versioni con 4070 e 4090, ma non ne vedrei il motivo) ...

Purtroppo il prezzo di 3619 euro è per una configurazione con soli 16GB RAM e 512GB SSD.
Per portarlo ad una configurazione "decente" per il 2023, ovvero 32GB e 1TB SSD, ci vogliono 3979 euro.
Anche i prezzi della concorrenza quest'anno mi sembrano alti, ma non è una gran consolazione. :(

Si, ho visto la recensione "preliminare" di Jarrod, fa il punto su tutti i "downgrade" rispetto al 7i del 2022, che stanno suscitando molti mugugni in rete.
Personalmente pensavo che le "rinunce" (no fingerprint, meno illuminazione RGB, meno porte USB-C, 1 sola porta TB e solo per modelli con 4080/4090, trackpad in plastica e non in vetro ... e me ne sto certo dimenticando altre) fossero state fatte per tenere il prezzo, anche in Europa, attorno ai 3200-3500 euro max per una configurazione 32GB/1TB/RTX4080.
A questo punto, se devo spendere 4000 euro e rotti (perchè poi, usandolo al 90% come desktop replacement, mi ci vuole anche un nuovo display esterno ed una tasiera esterna, sono altri 500 almeno che se ne vanno) mi sa che mi faccio un desktop moderno con una 4080 DESKTOP e un i9-13900K DESKTOP!
Io ho pochi dubbi che le performance del 7i Pro, quando Jarrod lo testerà, saranno molto buone.
Non credo che Lenovo deluderà sulle temperature e che potendo "spremere" i componenti avrà prestazioni non inferiori ai modelli della concorrenza (tipo Asus, che sta facendo sbavare molti quest'anno, forse anche perchè hanno ... corretto errori che avevano fatto sui modelli 2022, Mux ecc. :D ).
Tra l'altro, una prima recensione del 7i Pro sul web, con anche qualche benchmark, è già apparsa, in Romania
E' relativa alla versione più "tranquilla" con i7-13700HX e i risultati sembrano davvero ottimi.
Però, a questi prezzi come minimo aspetto verso fine anno per vedere se ci sono netti cali/sconti oppure anche prima di fine anno mi faccio davvero il desktop nuovo e chiusa lì.
Peccato, era già dall'anno scorso che puntavo il 5i Pro 2022, avendo poi deciso di aspettare, e adesso il Pro 7i 2023 (che per alcuni aspetti sembra quasi il 5i Pro dell'anno scorso!).
Il prossimo anno ci dovrebbero essere i Meteor Lake, tecnologia nuova e certamente un passo avanti, ma io non sono affatto un "early adopter" e non vorrei certo fare da cavia! :)
Questo in teoria era un anno ottimo per acquistare su piattaforme e tecnologie consolidate, come i Raptor Lake, da poter usare bene per diversi anni, ma l'aumento generalizzato dei prezzi ha mandato questa prospettiva in frantumi.
Anche sui desktop è così, vedi i costi stellari della 4090 ma anche la 4080 non è molto meglio, ma almeno lì si possono cercare i componenti da diversi produttori e venditori, con i laptop invece ti prendi un pacchetto chiuso ... ed oggi molto costoso!
venduto il legion 5 2021 ad un amico avrei voluto prendere i nuovi lenovo con 4090
ma dopo avere “intuito” i prezzi che avrebbero avuto (e vedendo il costo di quello con 4080 ci ho visto giusto : sicuro quello con 4090 sfiorerà i 4299€ per una configurazione decente)
ho deciso di prendere un desktop 13900k+4090+32gb ddr 5 6200 e…. È un missile
la 4090 vera e’mostruosa ma ne vale la pena
ho speso di più di un portatile ma siamo su un altro livello
ps. Consiglio prenditi una 4090 o pny o inno3d invece di una 4080 più di marca … perché praticamente costa molto simili ma avresti una 4090
Grazie dei consigli, in effetti l'idea di una 4090 desktop mi solletica.
Tuttavia al momento attuale la differenza di prezzo tra 4080 e 4090 mi sembra ancora piuttosto rilevante (sui 1300-1400 per la 4080 e 1800-2000+ per la 4090).
Da qualche parte ho letto che Nvidia si starebbe preparando a diminuire il prezzo delle 4080, che al costo attuale non attirano nè gli "hardcore gamers" (che vanno sulla 4090) nè i giocatori "moderati" (per i quali è già troppo costosa). Solo indiscrezioni, sia chiaro.
Come 4090 "economica" mi avevano indicato la meno costosa delle Zotac, che però vedo avere qualche giudizio non molto buono e comunque è sempre sui 1800 e rotti.
Però vedo che la PNY si trova a 1900 euro e questa ha buone rece, si risparmiano circa 100 euro rispetto alla Gigabyte che mi attirava. Vale la pena quel risparmio, anche pensando di accoppiare la GPU proprio ad una mobo Gigabyte?
Vedrò, comunque a questo punto vado all'estate o a settembre, sperando che il costo delle schede grafiche 40XX cali ancora.

io ho visto 4090 inno3d a 1870€….
Comunque le 4080 sono le maggiori indiziate per un (piccolo ) calo di prezzo
la 4090 non calerà per me perché ne spediscono poche e vengono vendute immediatamente

Legion Community enables its registered users (the “Users") to post and share content, such as information about Lenovo products, services, events, social media activity and videos ("Content”) to the Platform.
Legion Community is provided by Lenovo through the services of Standing on Giants subject to these Terms (“Terms”). We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time and without notice. If we amend the Terms, we will post the amended Terms on this page and indicate at the top of the page the date the Terms were last revised. Your continued use of the Platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
By accessing or using Legion Community you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, then you should not access or use the Platform.
Lenovo’s decision in relation to any aspect of Legion Community and these Terms is final and binding.
Your Use of Legion Community Platform

Your Content Posted or Linked to Legion Community
Lenovo allows you to submit posts or link content to Legion Community, including photos, images, videos, sounds, comments, links, tweets, likes, and other materials. A Legion Community moderator will moderate all posts after publication. Lenovo reserves the right to remove user’s content that it considers to be irrelevant to the purpose of the platform, or that it considers violates any of these Terms. Lenovo may also post or link to the Platform any of your Content that you make available to Lenovo for the Platform. You are solely responsible for your Content that is posted or linked to the Platform and Lenovo accepts no liability for your Content.
You grant Lenovo and other users of the Platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, create derivative works of, perform, publish, re-post, re-tweet, and distribute your Content on or in connection with the Platform.

Representations and Warranties
You represent and warrant that:

Compliance
When using Legion Community, you will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and all terms of use and similar rules concerning your use of any Social Media Outlet or other third party publishing platform.
Upon our request made to you from time to time, you will cooperate with us and allow us access to your systems, communications, and records solely in connection with determining your compliance with these Terms.
Visiting Third Party Websites
The Platform may contain links to third party websites, advertisers, products, services, offers, or other events or activities that are not owned or controlled by Lenovo. Lenovo does not assume any responsibility for any such third party sites, information, materials, products, services or offers. If you access any third party website, product, service, or content from the Platform, you do so at your own risk and you agree that Lenovo will have no liability arising from your use of or access to any third party website, product, service, or content.
Trademarks and Ownership of Intellectual Property
Lenovo™, the Lenovo logo, and certain other product names and phrases are trademarks or service marks of Lenovo in the U.S. and/or other countries. Termination
You may terminate use of the Platform at any time for any reason (in other words, un-register). Lenovo may terminate or suspend your right to use the Platform at any time, with or without cause or notice to you. Lenovo may terminate the Platform at any time without notice. Upon termination, all licenses and other rights granted to you in these Terms will immediately cease. Following termination, Lenovo may retain your Content for a commercially reasonable period of time for backup, archival, or audit purposes. Furthermore, Lenovo and its other users may retain and continue to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, create derivative works of, perform, and distribute any of your Content that other users have stored or shared through the Platform.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Lenovo and its employees, officers, affiliates and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation, reasonable attorney's fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with any of the following: (i) Your Content or your misuse of the Platform; (ii) your breach or alleged breach of these Terms; (iii) your violation of any third party right, including without limitation, any intellectual property right, publicity, confidentiality, property or privacy right; (iv) your violation of any laws, rules, regulations, codes, statutes, ordinances or orders of any governmental authorities, including, without limitation, all regulatory, administrative and legislative authorities; or (v) any misrepresentation made by you. You will cooperate as reasonably requested by Lenovo with respect to any such claim. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England.
Entire Agreement; Severability
These Terms, together with Lenovo’s Data Privacy Policy and any amendments and any additional agreements you may enter into with Lenovo in connection with the Platform, shall constitute the entire agreement between you and Lenovo concerning the Platform. If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, then that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.
Limitations of Liability
Neither Lenovo nor its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, third party content providers, sponsors, or licensors warrant that the Site will be continuous, uninterrupted or error-free. THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ITS CONTENT, IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.
