Por allá hace muchos años, Mortal Kombat dominaba el mundo de los juegos de pelea. Todo el mundo sabía que era un "fatality" y la frase "get over here" de Scorpion fue parte de toda nuestra infancia, así no supiéramos exactamente qué significaba (lo siento, pero el ¡Ven aquí! no tiene el mismo poder).
Street Fighter tenía sus fans, pero no fue hasta la llegada de Tekken 3 que Mortal Kombat se enfrentó a un oponente a su altura: un diseño de personajes increíble, estilos de lucha originales (¿quién más aprendió lo que era el capoeira jugando con Eddy Gordo?), y una historia tan complicada que costaba seguirla y parecía una novela de las más dramáticas.
Los años han pasado, pero siempre he guardado un lugar especial en mi 💙 para Tekken, y el día de hoy, gracias a nuestro amigo @GoLLuM13 de la comunidad francesa, me he enterado que pronto verá la luz nada más y nada menos que ¡Tekken 8!!!!!

Lo siento @LilySensei 💙 pero 'Street Fighter II' fue el rey de los juegos de lucha con 15,5 millones de copias vendidas en todo el mundo, fue superado por 'Super Smash Bros Ultimate' en 2019 que vendió 15,71 millones de copias.
Cuando empezaron a llegar los juegos en 3D, Street Fighter y Moral Kombat se perdieron, teníamos un cierto Virtua Fighter de Sega que se hizo popular cuando Namco (antes de convertirse en Bandai-Namco) lanzó al principal competidor de este último, Tekken. Hoy en día Virtua fighter ya no existe, y los 3 campeones que son Street Fighter, Tekken y Mortal Kombat son licencias fuertes.
Cuando era joven, jugaba mucho a juegos de lucha 👀 Por supuesto, me gustaba mucho Street Fighter (comencé el primero, que es menos conocido que el segundo). También me gustaba Mortal Kombat, pero había muchos otros juegos, King of Fighters, Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting y muchos más. Y al igual que tú, Tekken, especialmente Tekken 3, tiene un lugar muy especial en mi corazón.

@GoLLuM13 jajaja sabía que el hecho de no darle suficiente cariño a Street Fighter iba a tener sus consecuencias, pero es que... debo confesar... ¡¡que a mí nunca me gustó! Creo que estaba muy peque cuando fue MUY popular y pues me imagino que pisaba los botones sin lograr nada. Y claro, en esa época yo no tenía ni idea de qué tantas copias se habían vendido, yo solo le pedía dinero a mi madre para el arcade. 😂

Ahora, ¿si me pones a elegir? Tekken y Mortal Kombat por encima de todos los demás. Rato largo.
De pequeño le dedique demasiadas horas a Tekken 3 en el psx, debo admitir que pase varios años simplemente presionando botones al azar o siendo el odioso jugador que solo pegaba patadas bajas pero sin duda me encantaba ese juego, no había nada mejor que desbloquear la escena de un nuevo personaje.
Tener al árbol Mokujin o al panda era increíble!! Que buenos recuerdos 🔥

Madre mía la caña que le dimos al Tekken 3 entre otros en su tiempo, también al Tekken 7 recientemente, me gustaba mucho el DLC de Noctis Caelum de Final Fantasy XV y le aprendí unos cuantos combos jeje.
A mí de los clásicos siempre me gusto Jin la verdad, y de personajes femeninos me gustaban Xiaoyu y Nina. Siempre me cabreaba mucho por que mi hermano es el típico jugador que solo juega Hwoarang, (un tipo con unas piernas muy largas que me ponía de los nervios) y si te levantaba había que prepararse para uno de los combos más pesados que había. Mucho cariño a esta franquicia la verdad.
Street Fighter tengo vago recuerdo, sé que he jugado por que un personaje luchador de sumo creo me apalizaba de pequeño.
@GoLLuM13 es de admirar lo bien que redactas en español.
@LilySensei, tranquila que no eres la única que preferiría el Mortal Kombat al Street Fighters, que habrá ganado en copias vendidas como dice @GoLLuM13, pero los "precursores de los cybercafés" que había por donde vivía estaban llenos de Mega Drive con el Mortal Kombat, hasta torneos hacíamos.
Aunque el que tuve en mi colección personal fue el Eternal Champions de Sega, mucho menos conocido pero me encantaba
Del tekken también hay escritos libros de piques entre amigos y familiares 🤣😂🤣 Siempre mola tener uno de estos a mano para dirimir diferencias 😄

@YeiCov lo que me flipa de Mortal Kombat son sus Fatalities son muy sangrientos y definitivamente de anatomía humana saben bastante por que es super realista lo bien que les sale, dentro de la ficción del videojuego claro está (todos sabemos que nadie va a sacarte la espina dorsal y golpearte con ella).

Legion Community enables its registered users (the “Users") to post and share content, such as information about Lenovo products, services, events, social media activity and videos ("Content”) to the Platform.
Legion Community is provided by Lenovo through the services of Standing on Giants subject to these Terms (“Terms”). We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time and without notice. If we amend the Terms, we will post the amended Terms on this page gaming.lenovo.com/emea/register/ and indicate at the top of the page the date the Terms were last revised. Your continued use of the Platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
By accessing or using Legion Community you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, then you should not access or use the Platform.
Lenovo’s decision in relation to any aspect of Legion Community and these Terms is final and binding.
Your Use of Legion Community Platform
ELIGIBILITY. This Program is open to Participants who are age 18 years or older at the time of entry. REWARDS. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, and once confirmed by [Client], Participants will be able to accrue “points” that can be redeemed for reward(s). Rewards will be featured at various price points and in limited quantities.
The approximate retail values of rewards are subject to change based on current market conditions at the time of reward redemption. Participants are not entitled to any surplus between actual retail value (ARV) of a reward and stated ARV and any difference between stated ARV and actual value of the reward will not be awarded. No substitution, assignment, transfer, or cash redemption of any reward is allowed. Your Content Posted or Linked to Legion Community
Lenovo allows you to submit posts or link content to Legion Community, including photos, images, videos, sounds, comments, links, tweets, likes, and other materials. A Legion Community moderator may moderate posts after publication. Lenovo reserves the right to remove user’s content that it considers to be irrelevant to the purpose of the platform, or that it considers violates any of these Terms. Lenovo may also post or link to the Platform any of your Content that you make available to Lenovo for the Platform. You are solely responsible for your Content that is posted or linked to the Platform and Lenovo accepts no liability for your Content.
You grant Lenovo and other users of the Platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, create derivative works of, perform, publish, re-post, re-tweet, and distribute your Content on or in connection with the Platform.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary in your Content for it to be on or available from the Platform, and that the posting and use of your Content on or through the Platform does not violate, misappropriate or infringe on the rights of any third party, including, without limitation, privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, trademark and/or other intellectual property rights. You agree that Lenovo is only acting as a passive conduit for your online distribution and publication of your Content. Lenovo does not have any obligation to review your Content, and therefore does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity, or quality of all user Content and we cannot assure you that harmful, inaccurate, deceptive, offensive, threatening, defamatory, unlawful, or otherwise objectionable Content will not appear on the Platform. Lenovo is not responsible for any public display or misuse of your Content. Data Privacy and Security
Lenovo will communicate with you via email or push notifications (including via the Standing on Giants platform), about Legion Community related notices changes to features of Legion Community and any notices required by law, in lieu of communication by postal mail.. If required by law, we will ask you for consent before sending you marketing emails. Please note that you may unsubscribe to general marketing emails at any time using the link provided in the emails. You understand that your data may be shared with other Lenovo entities and trusted third parties with a contractual relationship with Lenovo solely in connection with Legion Community

Representations and Warranties
You represent and warrant that:
(a) You will abide by and comply with these Terms;

(c) You have the full power and authority to enter into these Terms and to the extent that any entity is bound hereby, to bind such entity, these Terms, and performance of obligations under these Terms do not and will not violate any other agreement to which you or such entity is a party; and

Compliance
When using Legion Community, you will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and all terms of use and similar rules concerning your use of any Social Media Outlet or other third party publishing platform.
Upon our request made to you from time to time, you will cooperate with us and allow us access to your systems, communications, and records solely in connection with determining your compliance with these Terms.
Visiting Third Party Websites
The Platform may contain links to third party websites, advertisers, products, services, offers, or other events or activities that are not owned or controlled by Lenovo. Lenovo does not assume any responsibility for any such third party sites, information, materials, products, services or offers. If you access any third party website, product, service, or content from the Platform, you do so at your own risk and you agree that Lenovo will have no liability arising from your use of or access to any third party website, product, service, or content.
Trademarks and Ownership of Intellectual Property
Lenovo™, the Lenovo logo, and certain other product names and phrases are trademarks or service marks of Lenovo in the U.S. and/or other countries. Termination
You may terminate use of the Platform at any time for any reason (in other words, un-register). Lenovo may terminate or suspend your right to use the Platform at any time, with or without cause or notice to you. Lenovo may terminate the Platform at any time without notice. Upon termination, all licenses and other rights granted to you in these Terms will immediately cease. Following termination, Lenovo may retain your Content as permitted by applicable law for backup, archival, or audit purposes. Furthermore, Lenovo and its other users may retain and continue to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, create derivative works of, perform, and distribute any of your Content that other users have stored or shared through the Platform.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Lenovo and its employees, officers, affiliates and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation, reasonable attorney's fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with any of the following: (i) Your Content or your misuse of the Platform; (ii) your breach or alleged breach of these Terms; (iii) your violation of any third party right, including without limitation, any intellectual property right, publicity, confidentiality, property or privacy right; (iv) your violation of any laws, rules, regulations, codes, statutes, ordinances or orders of any governmental authorities, including, without limitation, all regulatory, administrative and legislative authorities; or (v) any misrepresentation made by you. You will cooperate as reasonably requested by Lenovo with respect to any such claim. Lenovo reserves the right to assume control of the defence or settlement of any such claim, and you will not in any event settle any such claim without the prior written consent of Lenovo.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain.
Entire Agreement; Severability
These Terms, together with Lenovo’s Data Privacy Policy and any amendments and any additional agreements you may enter into with Lenovo in connection with the Platform, shall constitute the entire agreement between you and Lenovo concerning the Platform. If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, then that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.
Limitations of Liability
Neither Lenovo nor its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, third party content providers, sponsors, or licensors warrant that the Site will be continuous, uninterrupted or error-free. THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ITS CONTENT, IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, LENOVO HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ANY WARRANTIES BASED ON A COURSE OF DEALING. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LENOVO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA OR USE, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE LEGION COMMUNITY, EVEN IF LENOVO HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF ANY SUCH DAMAGES IN ADVANCE.
