Guarda stavo leggendo le ultime due pagine, l'avevo immaginato. Mi sa proprio che lo stavo provando senza alimentazione inserita. Scusami. È ancora l'emozione di avere una bestia in mano (vengo da 8 anni con un Acer che montava una GT 960m 🤣, sono praticamente andato sulla luna con Jeff Bezos).
Già che ci sono, c'è qualche thread qui dove consigli (te od altri magari) cosa installare o meno nei primi giorni di vita del pc?

Riguardo i programmi utili te ne dico un paio che utilizzo io spesso, ma ovviamente dipende da persona a persona:
- Wallpaper Engine per sfondi animati sboroni sul desktop
- ShareX per screenare subito con upload su imgur o anche solo porzioni di schermo
- Discord perchè ovviamente lo utilizzo spesso
- Se utilizzi giochi di launcher diversi, GOG Galaxy che li unisce tutti in uno
- Notepad++ se come me hai a che fare con la programmazione, ma anche perchè è un Blocconote molto avanzato utile anche per prendere appunti rapidi
- X-rite Color Assistant che hai integrato col Legion per calibrare lo schermo almeno una volta
- 3DMark in trial per testare le prestazioni, specie se cambi componenti nel PC o vuoi vedere la differenza tra varie modalità
Poi, a parte i programmi che ti servono specificatamente ( per esempio per me il software Logitech per il mio mouse g600 ) ti consiglierei di non mettere altro. È meglio rimanere leggeri con le installazioni perchè alla fine ciò che facciamo coi PC è molto mirato e non vale la pena avere programmi installati che agiscono in background perchè "potrebbero servire".

Ecco, l'ultima mi interesserebbe perché avrei intenzione di inserire un secondo SSD, perché l'unica cosa che mi ha fatto storcere il naso è il solo SSD da 512GB, che nel 2022 è decisamente insufficiente. Ho appena installato Red dead redemption 2 che praticamente ho più che dimezzato la capienza. Pertanto pensavo di inserirne uno da 1tb. Mi permetto di chiederti se da qualche parte qui c'è qualche esperto che possa consigliare una installazione del genere, che io sono completamente negato

Si devo cercare bene perché quello è il modello da 15.6" e io ho il 17, quindi penso che i pezzi siano sistemati in maniera leggermente differente, situazione che per me è determinante perché non ho assolutamente idea di cosa mi troverei davanti 😅 mai fatta una cosa del genere in vita mia.

Riguardo Lenovo Vantage vorrei poter aggiungere una nota, però su questo forum non posso modificare dopo un'ora da quando faccio un post a quanto pare: MAI USARE Ottimizzazione Rete E Sicurezza WiFi. Fanno dei controlli a mio parere inutili e ci si trova a mettere eccezioni su eccezioni. Per esempio sono impazzito per un paio di giorni perchè su Discord non riuscivo a streamare, e poi ho capito che Ottimizzazione Rete praticamente dava tutto il traffico solo al gioco e pochissimo alla chat vocale, che mi sentiva pure male, e se mettevo lo stream mi disconnetteva persino da Discord tanto male è fatta la distribuzione. Non escludo che possa persino dare problemi ad altri utenti nella stessa rete.

Quindi se uso cuffie per programma di comunicazione (o solo quelli specifici di chat vocale?) devo disattivare i due filtri che applica al microfono di default?

Io avevo provato ''Sicruezza WiFi'' ma ritenendolo tutto sommato inutile, l'ho disattivato subito. E ''Ottimizzazione Rete'' invece non l'ho mai attivato, proprio perché chiedeva di scaricare ulteriori e non precisati driver.
Cmq è la seconda volta che Nahimic mi dice che non può essere utilizzato sul mio Legion 5.
Non so perché mi accada. Questa volta non funziona dopo un riavvio in seguito a aggiornamento dei driver del chipset AMD I2C e AMD PSP. Ma non credo dipenda da questi driver. Forse il problema è che sto programma non funziona ogni volta che si modifica qualche driver rispetto a quelli con cui è stato installato?
Peraltro la scorsa volta per poterlo far funzionare di nuovo ho reinstallato da zero i driver audio e reisntallato Nahimic e manco funzionava: l'inghippo era di non aprire subito Nahimic dopo la reinstallazione, ma prima eseguire un riavvio e poi aprirlo per la prima volta. Mi pare un po' poco stabile sta roba, per usare un eufemismo...2 stelle sullo store MS mi paiono meritate, se continua così ci rinuncio.
@Deki Ho notato dopo un paio di settimane l'instabilità del software Nahimic. In sostanza se hai dei software che cercano di applicare effetti ci sono dei conflitti abbastanza brutti.
Di per sè il software non aggiunge chissà cosa, come dissi nella Guida, ma aiutano un po'. Se trovi altri software che fanno un lavoro simile ( mi pare ne esistano nella famiglia DOLBY ) possono essere una opzione.
Giusto per esser sicuro: non hai Win11, giusto? Comunque non mi si è mai disattivato interamente come per te. Sono al BIOS 46, fyi.

Legion Community enables its registered users (the “Users") to post and share content, such as information about Lenovo products, services, events, social media activity and videos ("Content”) to the Platform.
Legion Community is provided by Lenovo through the services of Standing on Giants subject to these Terms (“Terms”). We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time and without notice. If we amend the Terms, we will post the amended Terms on this page and indicate at the top of the page the date the Terms were last revised. Your continued use of the Platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
By accessing or using Legion Community you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, then you should not access or use the Platform.
Lenovo’s decision in relation to any aspect of Legion Community and these Terms is final and binding.
Your Use of Legion Community Platform
ELIGIBILITY. This Program is open to Participants who are age 18 years or older at the time of entry. Your Content Posted or Linked to Legion Community
Lenovo allows you to submit posts or link content to Legion Community, including photos, images, videos, sounds, comments, links, tweets, likes, and other materials. A Legion Community moderator will moderate all posts after publication. Lenovo reserves the right to remove user’s content that it considers to be irrelevant to the purpose of the platform, or that it considers violates any of these Terms. Lenovo may also post or link to the Platform any of your Content that you make available to Lenovo for the Platform. You are solely responsible for your Content that is posted or linked to the Platform and Lenovo accepts no liability for your Content.
You grant Lenovo and other users of the Platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, create derivative works of, perform, publish, re-post, re-tweet, and distribute your Content on or in connection with the Platform.

Representations and Warranties
You represent and warrant that:

Compliance
When using Legion Community, you will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and all terms of use and similar rules concerning your use of any Social Media Outlet or other third party publishing platform.
Upon our request made to you from time to time, you will cooperate with us and allow us access to your systems, communications, and records solely in connection with determining your compliance with these Terms.
Visiting Third Party Websites
The Platform may contain links to third party websites, advertisers, products, services, offers, or other events or activities that are not owned or controlled by Lenovo. Lenovo does not assume any responsibility for any such third party sites, information, materials, products, services or offers. If you access any third party website, product, service, or content from the Platform, you do so at your own risk and you agree that Lenovo will have no liability arising from your use of or access to any third party website, product, service, or content.
Trademarks and Ownership of Intellectual Property
Lenovo™, the Lenovo logo, and certain other product names and phrases are trademarks or service marks of Lenovo in the U.S. and/or other countries. Termination
You may terminate use of the Platform at any time for any reason (in other words, un-register). Lenovo may terminate or suspend your right to use the Platform at any time, with or without cause or notice to you. Lenovo may terminate the Platform at any time without notice. Upon termination, all licenses and other rights granted to you in these Terms will immediately cease. Following termination, Lenovo may retain your Content for a commercially reasonable period of time for backup, archival, or audit purposes. Furthermore, Lenovo and its other users may retain and continue to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, create derivative works of, perform, and distribute any of your Content that other users have stored or shared through the Platform.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Lenovo and its employees, officers, affiliates and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation, reasonable attorney's fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with any of the following: (i) Your Content or your misuse of the Platform; (ii) your breach or alleged breach of these Terms; (iii) your violation of any third party right, including without limitation, any intellectual property right, publicity, confidentiality, property or privacy right; (iv) your violation of any laws, rules, regulations, codes, statutes, ordinances or orders of any governmental authorities, including, without limitation, all regulatory, administrative and legislative authorities; or (v) any misrepresentation made by you. These Terms are governed by the laws of England.
Entire Agreement; Severability
These Terms, together with Lenovo’s Data Privacy Policy and any amendments and any additional agreements you may enter into with Lenovo in connection with the Platform, shall constitute the entire agreement between you and Lenovo concerning the Platform. If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, then that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.
Limitations of Liability
Neither Lenovo nor its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, third party content providers, sponsors, or licensors warrant that the Site will be continuous, uninterrupted or error-free. THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ITS CONTENT, IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS.
